  1. Josh is not exactly the GOAT in this game.
  2. I think McCoy gets showcased tonight. They will use him in all facets early, and then hopefully he’s successful and the Bills get a trade partner tomorrow for his services
  3. Every summer i say the same thing. Eventually the NFL "preseason" will be 2 regular games instead of 4, and the rest of the work will be joint practices and/or scrimmages against other clubs at training camps. This will provide enough work for draft picks, UDFA's, etc.. to audition for jobs and prove themselves.
  4. Tyree might get a full half tonight on National TV in prime time. Imagine that for the country to see! I mean you don't really need to evaluate Allen or Barkley more than 10-12 snaps each at most. So with Tyree look for a bunch of hand-offs, QB scrambles and bubble screens.
  5. I'd be fine with rookie Daniel Jones starting. No way will he be totally prepared for a real defensive scheme coming at him this early in his career. But he does look promising for the future. Such a weird quirk of schedule to be the home opener for two clubs in consecutive weeks in the same stadium.
  6. We had twins (boy, girl), then a single girl. 14 years later I'm finally seeing the light. Good for Jeremy and his wife. I don't think i could handle all that comes with raising 4 kids at once.
  7. No doubt. But at the time he declared he was on a lot of draft boards anywhere from 3rd to 7th round. His advisors probably told him go now, or you risk not being drafted next season when the QB pool is deeper and UB will have a worse WR crew to elevate him. So he rolled the dice and lost. Obviously, in hindsight he could have stayed and sharpened his skills and still been an UDFA in 2020. Now he’s likely to be cut and have no football this season. Not good
  8. Why would they throw such a low% fade?! So dumb
  9. I think Tyree just needs to tuck and run. He’s not ready to Chuck it around in the NFL. Things are happening too fast for him
  10. Tyree just can’t see downfield fast enough, tough learning curve to read defenses
  11. Hausch sucks. Time to start auditioning the Big 10 kicker of the year and some other guys
  12. I always liked Ryan Finley in college at NC State. He didn't get picked until the 4th round. So far in preseason he looks real accurate and comfortable in the pocket for Cincinnati.
  13. I've been a customer since 2000. I've noticed the past couple years since AT&T took over they won't transfer me to a "Loyalty" dept. I don't know if such a department really exists anymore? or maybe they are simply transferring to another supervisory type person. They are very unwilling to provide discounts on the Ticket. But they will provide some general monthly credit off the bill if you're polite and previous credits have expired. It probably has to do with the way they recognize revenue for the Sunday Ticket product. Anyway, I'll be calling DTV when i get my August bill which I'm sure will have an exorbitant ST installment charge on it.
  14. A Carolina media person said Oliver jumped Offside on 3 straight snaps today. So the Bills pulled him out and sat him for a few. He's jumpy!
  15. From the early twitter stuff i was viewing from both teams/media, it seemed like the Panthers were taking the Bills to school in several different areas. Hope that's not really the case.
  16. Thats harsh man. The only thing I’ll say is the coaching staff needs to be careful about reigning in Allen’s athletic ability too much. He will naturally become a better NFL QB over time, but don’t make him be a statue in the pocket. If he gets hurt running so be it. He’s smart, he can make good decisions. Let him be the athlete he is
  17. People tend to dismiss him but that UDFA from Ilinois was the Big Ten kicker of the year in 2018. Ranked 2nd in the nation last year in 50+ makes and nailed 80% overall,, and no domes in the crappy midwest weather. So if he does well in preseason here, he may get a crack in the League elsewhere (assuming Hausch gets his mojo back).
  18. I think the Bills, along with their concession charge higher prices (and quantity) to keep alcohol sales in check. The stadium has had it's problems with rowdy intoxicated people. As a comparison, the Ravens lowered their food/drink prices last season and continues this year. Domestic 12oz. $5 Domestic 16oz and Drafts, $7 Premium 16oz and Drafts, $8 Premium spirits, $9
  19. I don’t think anyone really thought that. I liked Tyree at UB, but honestly, he’s a borderline 3rd string guy at best if he can show significant improvement. He’s not accurate enough yet
  20. If budget weren't a huge factor, I'd definitely like to see UB make the jump up to a better overall athletics conference than the MAC. Not sure it's realistic. I think Buffalo would be a middling football program in the AAC with more bad years mixed in than good seasons. Hoops would be solid though. The AAC has had multiple bids and Buffalo would benefit from that. In the MAC you have to win the conference tourney.
  21. It sucks but this is not a unique thing to UB Football at all. Players are using the transfer portal like free agency and it's affecting the Power-5 schools just like the G-5 programs...for many different reasons.
  22. Sounds like they will be closing up shop in SJF within a couple years. I don't mind. As others have said, it's mostly been a losing era of football since they've held it there. I get to Buffalo once or twice a summer and it would be nice to see a Bills practice locally.
  23. Awesome. Whatever he's doing...keep doing it.
  24. Cool. For those of us at work can anyone link it later? I'd like to watch it.
