As i said last week, NE was the team we could never beat. Cinci is the team we can't seem to lose to. One streak is broken, let's hope the other stays intact. My guess is that the Bills fall a little flat in a very glum atmosphere. Cinci is hungry for a win against us and plays tough. I'd be happy getting out of there with a 23-17 win and I think that it will play out like that.

Bills are still the darling underdog "coming together" at the right time. The media still perceives them as the "little team that could". The Bills are still the hunter of the big bad Jets, Pats, Steelers, etc... I really like the first year of getting good and hope they can parlay this into a playoff appearance and a Deep one at that. You know that once a team shows they are upper tier team, the expectations change and media/opponents treat them differently. Not sure if I am articulating what i'm thinking but i think you guys get it...

Bills at Jets week #12, Nov. 27. The NBC game that night is Steelers at KC. That game will be going to the scrap heap. That is the Chiefs 3rd primetime game which is 3 too many.

If things continue look for the Bills/Jets game to be flexed on NBC in November. They play on a day when the KC Chiefs are scheduled for Sunday Night football. NO way they don't flex that out.

This. It's unbelievable that as recently as early last season, we had maybe the worst and most boring offense in the league with Lynch, Evans and Edwards. Now Gailey has put the right people in place and the Bills have possibly the most exciting and dynamic offense. Fantastic job not only with personnel but with schemes and play calling.

Its weird, all that passing and we had only had 5 guys catch balls today. Well 6 if you count CJ but his catch went for negative 7!

Horrible call since Welker lowered his head at the last second. In the Bucs game, Freeman ran and got nailed 10x worse in the head and no flag. Its obviously a very subjective call

The Bills should do something to reward Fred more but he will NEVER get from them what he thinks he's worth. It's definitely his age working against him. Also, look at Chris Johnson and DeAngelo Williams. They just got huge contracts and they are both struggling badly. Javon Ringer and James Stewart are the better RB's on their respective teams right now. RB is that one position where a guy can come out of nowhere and be good.

I thought the field looked awesome and the end zone colors blended with the uniforms perfectly. Very cool. I did notice some slips too but the previous field seemed really bad for slipping. We'll see.

So we've lost to New England 15 games in a row and beaten Cinci like 9 or 10 in a row. What are the odds that those streaks continue? It would be strange to buck the trend and finally beat NE only to lose to Cincinnati the following week.

He dropped a simple 5 yd pass with no one around him. I just shook my head. I guess they are OK with his special teams ability but I hope it's Roosevelt or Aiken next week.

I'm with you. Love that shade of blue and the white helmets just stand out this year. The colors on the field in the Bills game yesterday were so vibrant compared to other games when i flipped around and watched Redzone.

Nice stats. I knew Fitz was a helluva lot better than Edwards and should've been starting last years opener vs Miami. It's great to know Fitz is in his prime and he could play at this level for another several years. This is our Gannon or Warner. There's absolutely no way a Rook could do what he has done. It took a Harvard guy even a few years to be able to read a defense like this. QB'ing at this level is maybe the hardest thing to do in all of sports.

I like his running on the 3rd and shorts. Every one of the opposing players knows he's gonna run and he still gets it. Why? because the execution is perfect and Smith has the vision and can tap dance his way through the slightest opening. Take a fast guy like Spiller and he would get no gain or take a loss on similar plays.

Is Freddie the best over-30 RB ever? I mean wow, its not like he has the 1985 HOGS blocking for him either. I don't recall Emmitt's stats after 30 yrs old but I'm sure Fred must be close behind. I agree, Fred should get paid but he's on the wrong side of the age thing. Being an UDFA just kills your earnings potential. He's never gonna get the money to equal his level of play unfortunately.

PAts and PAck don't drop as many balls in a game as the Bills did in the 1st half. That being said, it's great to have a QB who when he coks his arm to pass you know there will be a receiver in the area for a completion.

There were a few of us last summer, screaming and typing everywhere that Fitz needed to start vs. Miami in the 2010 opener. HE had already proven himself from the season before imo. Of course Trent got the nod and it was a big thud. I guess in hindsight, the Bills may not have gotten Dareus if things had gone differently. It's great to have so many Bills fan sin Fitz's corner now.

The best thing about that column are all the comments from Bills fans bashing their place in the rankings. Just goes to show how many Bills supporters there are around the country..that pummel many other teams fan support.

Brady looks nasty this year. The way they throw he's gonna have 40 td passes. He's so aware out there like hurry up throwing against the DB who was cramping up. Damn he's good.

I did not look at attendance for all games but I did note that Jacksonville had 61K and Tampa had 51K for their home games. Really poor showing by the Bucs fans. That place used to be like Baltimore...great support and always sold out. They were a 10 win team last year right? Not sure what's happened there.

When you watch Brad Smith convert those 3rd and short plays, the old Lombardi saying it true. The opponent may know he is running up the middle 99% of the time, but if the players execute it's still not stoppable. Don't short change Smith either...he is great at dancing through the slightest crease to convert. You know a guy like CJ would get stuffed for no gain if he tried that.

The Colts without Manning are Cleveland. He makes a 5-6 win team into an 11 win team.

The blue pants were made and are part of the Bills official uniform template. I can't say who but multiple people "inside" have seen them and they were delivered to the team. The Bills have chosen not to wear them this year and are basically acting mum on their existence at all. I agree that it eleiminates the chance of players wanting to wear the blue/blue look. Management just needs to tell the players what to wear anyway. Our last uni's were never intended to be worn blue/blue. My reason for starting the thread is more of a hopeful thing. I wish they would bust them out as a surprise.
