  1. If the Bills are indeed Fools Gold, they will lose to Cinci this weekend. Whatever is meant to be will be played out on the field this season. I don’t care about some writers opinion.
  2. That sucks for Kroft..... but i do have faith in the young guys and that's a great feeling.
  3. I have friends who are PSL holders with a couple other NFL teams. 2+ years ago they had no trouble reselling their game tickets for a reasonable profit if they could not attend. Not sure of the exact reason, but they are having a tough time reselling their tix these days for anything above face value. Often times they are selling below face. People just aren't as into going anymore. Places like Green Bay and Buffalo stay steady because for 8 times a year it's the BIG event in town. In the big cities, it's not that big a deal.
  4. I'm surprised Indy waived him, unless there is something he did behind the scenes that we don't know about. I'm sure Frank made it clear there's a zero tolerance rule surrounding Chad. But based on his preseason work for a few years now, he's better than some of these backup QB clowns starting this weekend.
  5. Buffalo in the fall is so HOT they clearly want to make the road team wear their sun-absorbing dark jersey's. Worked so well against the Chargers last season. But hey, it's not unique to Buffalo....several home teams have worn white jersey's early in the season like Baltimore this past weekend vs Arizona. Also, the players/coaches are superstitious. They won 2 games already in white jersey's so maybe they just want to roll with it. For me I prefer the home uni to be the classic blue jersey w/ white pants. That should be it every week.
  6. Jeez, no one is saying Kelly should have hopped a private jet and flown down to Texas. Just pick up a phone while the guy is lying there dying in hospice care. Not that difficult. I'd like to think Pancho is up there now pulling a few strings in the Bills favor.... They are off to a great start including one improbable comeback. Just sayin'.
  7. A lot of these dummies who are getting hammered, starting crap with opposing fans and jumping through tables will grow up eventually. They will look back at how stupid they acted. Now the younger crowd coming up will see enforcement, as they should. Maybe this era of ridiculous behavior will have peaked. Sounds like maybe it already has.
  8. He wanted to leave, he was done. But he didn't want anyone to see him leave and have to give an explanation. Pretty lame all around. If he had waited until 6pm that evening and announced his retirement, the players would have lined up to hug him and see him off. He would have been applauded. He wouldn't have had to deal with backlash. What's stupid is that he knew this. He knew he'd get slammed by everyone, but did it anyway.
  9. I like the whole Pancho story. It's too bad Jim never met him or reached out to him. It doesn't always have to be about kelly either.
  10. Of any team/fanbase, the Buffalo Bills are not the ones to ever look ahead or take an opponent lightly. There has not been enough winning around here to be that cocky. Cinci has NFL players and are dangerous. A few years ago when Cinci was good and the Bills were crap we went in there an beat em. They could do the same here.
  11. Yep. I listened to about 20 minutes of Redskins bashing this morning on DC radio.. how they have a horrible culture. the players don't trust the owner, they don't trust the front office, ...they don't trust the medical staff, etc.. So then you circle back to McBeane and they have really created something special in Buffalo. The the Pegulas and the new fitness facility, nutrition center, etc.. It's amazing.
  12. Fun mid week debate but let’s revisit this after 5 full seasons. Then we can declare who is better than who.
  13. Twitter tells me that Tyree Jackson may be on the Jets practice squad soon. Seriously
  14. Watching the Jets play calling down there makes me really appreciate what Daboll comes up with
  15. Without their franchise QB and great LB, they are really down in the dumps. They’re playing like the Bills last season w/Peterman or Derek Anderson. You just accept losing.
  16. Allen played great today. But I hated when he stiff armed a defensive end while getting tackled. Allen’s whole mantra should be to take off and avoid contact at all costs. Eventually, all the running QBs get hurt and there’s also the cumulative effect. Don’t speed up the process by taking on dudes. as for punter, Bujourquez would have to shank a bunch of 30 yarders to ever be in danger. Half his value is that Haushka feels good about him as a holder. You don’t mess with that chemistry(see last season!)
  17. Josh throwing a couple amazing passes on the run today was a sight to behold. I think only Aaron Rodgers can do it that well with that much velocity. I was sure he’d break 300 yds today. That damn 3rd Qtr!!
  18. It's interesting. I worked so hard to contact AT&T over and over again about my NFL package. Finally got someone to appreciate my 20-year loyalty, and they gave me Sunday Ticket free. Yay! But, since last years $50 monthly credits expired, my bill went up $50 per month. Boooo! So far they've told me there are no more credit/discounts available. I'll keep calling back every once in a while, I'm sure they have my name flagged by now.
  19. People that are serious about just wanting to play football love Buffalo.
  20. When teams do special things in a season there is always one game or moment of extreme adversity that they overcome. The Jets game was extreme to the max. That was a helluva comeback that shouldn't really have happened with a -4 turnover margin.
  21. So many chunk plays in this Houston/Saints game, Jeez, it should be sponsored by chunky soup.
  22. Based on the Josh Allen rule, a QB rushing TD is meaningless and means he’s not a compete QB since he didn’t throw it in.
  23. The Giants moved the ball well against Dallas, they just imploded. Saquan, Eli, Engram...all had productive days on the road. The Bills D will have their hands full.
  24. The Bills are capable... maybe not like the Chiefs, Eagles, Saints, Pats,... but the Bills need more chunk plays on offense. If a team typically needs 8-10+ plays to score points, it's inevitable that something bad will happen along the way.. i.e. penalty, sack, tipped pass, dropped pass, failed 3rd down conversion, INT, fumble, etc.. Even if it's a Josh Allen 30 yard run, they need to come up with some big yardage plays.
  25. This whole “let’s tank” thing is not going to create any kind of winning culture. I don’t care which QB they end up with, the organization will suck for several years
