Having seen some of every Redskins game this year on local TV I can tell you he hasn’t done crap except against Miami. Bills D is embarrassingly bad

well then they should have watched Philadelphia film all week because Wentz handled the wind beautifully.

It’s our weather, again. Redskins practiced indoors all week. Rookie QB with limited knowledge and fighting through nerves.. no excuses today. Make plays and dominate. But something tells me the game will be closer than we all want or expect it to be.

Nice win. I love Leipold. Good coach. UB is fortunate to have him here.

Not getting frustrating low scoring games like this to OT are the reason they probably will not make the playoffs. Can’t start stacking regulation losses. The losers points add up. Need em.

Wow. Thats the most positive outlook of a 6-1 loss in history. getting outshot 15-5 in the 3rd period when you’re trying to push and catch up... and the Caps just protecting the lead..., is a run for the bus job.

With a full week of practice reps and some scripted plays I bet Haskins looks competent. His only action so far was when he was not expecting to play and took no first string reps during those weeks.

I hear you. And I believe the Bills should win (albeit I don't think it will be as easy and convincing as a lot of people think). But the fact is, this is the first time Haskins has practiced as the starter, been given all the practice reps, and game-planned for his skill set. The stats he put up were in games he was not expecting to play in... and he simply wasn't as prepared as he will be this week. Still the Bills *should* overwhelm him. But we'll see.

The Redskins defense isn't bad. What if Haskins looks better and has more success than Allen in this game?!?

Funny i how mentioned this about 4 weeks ago, and some board folks threw it in my face how the Bills were fine at the chunk plays...just not the bombs. Anyway- yeah the chunk play aspect of the offense has been horrendous. Ya can't rely on 10-12 play drives to score TD's. If so, it will end up costing the Bills a playoff spot.

The Sabres and Bills would be next-level for me for sure. But since I am a true hardcore Nats fans, (even had season tix for 5 years) and they are MY team..born in the city I live in and not some team i latched onto...this Championship is going on my resume. My first one! I don't count the Bills 1965 AFL Championship the year i was born or the Bisons, Bandits, etc...

This season has been unforgettable. I used to be an Expos fan when i was a kid... and now a huge Nats fan ever since they were re-born in the region I reside.. So pumped up for my first professional championship for a team I am emotionally invested in. Woohoo! I don't even know how to act. Not used to winning Championships!

I heard his opening segment today before Sal got there. Didn’t quite get why Schopp sounded so offended by McDermott’s quote. I just assumed he was trying to fill his show with a topic. I get what McD was saying though. Just didn’t seem like that big a deal to trigger Schopp.

i agree. Blue jersey white pants at home. That’s it. I can live with the white throwbacks and standing Buffalo once a year. But they can stop with the gimmicky monochrome looks.

I think that passing narrative works for a team/QB that has never done it. They may NEED to pass a bunch vs. Washington. They certainly needed to vs. Philly but the weather was never going to allow that. But they're 5-2 so if they keep winning with the run first /dink & dunk recipe I'm fine with that.

I think it's pretty obvious with regards to Josh. The coaching staff saw a bit of an out-of-control Ferrari driving around last season and it was risky, so they put the restrictor plates on for 2019. They coached Josh to stop running around at every breakdown, and hang there in the pocket to scan the field. They will call some designed runs as to not completely shut down the athlete.. but they've told him to stop scrambling so much (which i think he is awesome at doing). In my opinion, they've gone too far the opposite direction. There has to be a happy medium. If JA was a really accurate QB from the pocket maybe it would work. But he's not, and he's not great yet at recognizing defenses...he's taking too long to make a decision. The coaches have him so terrified of making a mistake (kinda like Marrone did to EJ Manuel) that he's paralyzed to make a play or try to fit it in a tight window. Last week the Bills had 7 drives that totaled 21 yards. It's too hard to be consistent with 10 play scoring drives.. too many negatives can happen out of the QB's control (penalties, drops, turnovers, bad snaps, etc..). Basically the coaches have asked him to be an 8-10 play drive manager, or it's 3 and out. Time to cut him loose and let him be Josh Allen, the exciting QB.

He’s going to roll an ankle in practice. He’s said he is never playing for the Redskins again. Just wants to make sure he gets his money.

I think it’s good. They all should be angry and re-think everything. The coaches should be focused on Washington and treating this game as if the playoffs are on the line. Because they are... for the next 9 games.

Fine with no moves. Can’t think of anyone available for a reasonable price that would’ve made this team that much better.

I don't think Nagy was part of the Trubisky draft pick was he? as I recall he was brought in as a QB-offensive guru type coach to help mentor the kid and get him up to speed. So in that sense, Nagy isn't married to him. He's not going to sink with the Mitch Trubisky-Titanic. He's not going to allow his Chicago head coaching career to die that way.

Finley looked really good in preseason. I thought he was an under the radar guy coming out of the ACC. I always liked his game. Heck even the kid from Hamburg, their 3rd string QB looked promising.

maybe you wouldn’t but half the board would have serious wood seeing 80% and 3 TD passes. again. I’d rather have Allen all day everyday over Trubisky but it’s fair to make comparisons against what others are doing vs similar opponents
