It was vs. the Jets at the Rockpile. My grandfather took me, he had season tix. I remember seeing Namath, he was a big deal and the Jets were wearing all white.

I also have season tix for another popular team in the East and I'm having problems the past couple years. It's not just the Bills, the ability to resell has gone from great to below face value in about 4 years. It's crazy. I'm about to get out of owning season tickets. They are not reselling at face anymore even for a decent team.

Brady could be here in his prime and the Bills still would not make the playoffs. The drought is too powerful. I agree that Shady McCoy and Lee Evans have been the most talented players.

People still like to attend games (especially when winning) but I feel like it's not as important with the younger generation....soon to be the ticket buyers. My son enjoys fantasy football but he never sits and watches a whole game...he just checks out his FF scores and maybe some redzone. I think I'm dumping my season tix after this year. I live too far and can't sell the late season games. I'd rather cherry pick whatever game(s) I want to attend and buy 50 yard line seats probably for face value.

I have two lower bowl tickets for Sunday that I cannot give away. So yeah I expect low attendance.

If TT is too banged up then I hope they give Peterman a shot at redemption. It's the Colts at home so they can be reasonably conservative and still probably win this.

One game is just ridiculous. Basically the NFL has told everyone that the price for going after an unsuspecting player, with a vicious blindside hit, after the play is over, out of bounds...is one game. I don't care if the offender has no history. How do we even know if Tre White plays again this year? His brain is bruised. He could have symptoms for months after getting pile driven and smashed on the back of the head by a 270 lb guy with a club. I'm pissed.

Dang, that hit was so dirty and so hard to the back of White’s head. He couldn’t even prepare for it. I just hope the guy is OK. He could be really messed up and miss the rest of the season. Wouldn’t surprise me. That was a club on Gronks arm.

It’s better he was not ejected w 4 minutes to go in a meaningless ending. Makes it more likely he will be suspended for a meaningful game. It was after the whistle foul that probably resulted in White being concussed.

Nice capper, 3 games and Bills/Sabres combined for 3 points and 1 goal. And as I predicted UB left out of the Bowl games as the final slap in the face.

The Sabres are a failure and bordering on disaster. The Murray/Bylsma regime the past two seasons produced 81 and 78 points. Lousy but not embarrassing (even with an injured Eichel). This current team is on pace for like 54 points?!?..and they were expected to compete for the playoffs. Housley managed to turn the #1 power play in the NHL last season...to dead last #30. Kind of like what Rick Dennison has done to the #1 Bills rushing attack! Anyway, I think Housley is doing a terrible job so far and Botterill had better find an answer.

And then on Sunday eve the UB Football team who are Bowl eligible will be one of 2 or 3 teams left out of the mix. That will be the final kick in the nuts for the weekend. enjoy!

Hate Hate Hate the all-blue uniforms. They should always wear Blue over white at home or white over the blue pants on the road. I'm OK, however, with the color rush Red over Red once a year as an exception as it satisfies my desire for something "different". But that's it.

Doesn't matter who gets the ball first, I think the Bills go three and out on their first drive...and NE scores a TD on their first drive. The rest is just chasing the game and the Bills lose by 17-20.

KC fans are dying for Mahomes to get a start. I'd like to see that too. Andy Reid doesn't seem like the kind of coach to take that risk.

Mitchell Trubisky does not look special. Goff sucked in his first year and now has a great coach and is much improved. You just never know how these "franchise" QB's will turn out.

Unfortunately it looks like there will be too may Bowl eligible teams this year. UB may be sitting home unless maybe some teams decline an invite. with the fan base here I can’t imagine the Bulls getting picked over any other programs

I’ll be watching from afar on ESPN3. Hopefully some people in Buffalo will actually show up, but I don’t have much faith in that.

Pretty sure Peterman will get another chance. If not this season than beginning in spring 2018. He was so hyper-over aggressive in his play. Just being so careless. He will learn a lot from it. Just hope he gets one more crack to do something positive.

In hindsight, yeah Anthony Lynn looks legit and McClapper and the Beane counter are taking haymakers to the chin at the moment. at the very least, even without Rivers, Lynn would have had a ready made offensive that played to Tyrod’s strengths, and we would have had a better rushing attack to complement McCoy.

Who knows? Your take is as plausible as anyone elses’. Not likely though. I will say I have never seen an NFL team start 5-2, look pretty good. Then get blown away three in a row looking like the worst team in the league by far. That just speaks to a fragile makeup. The Sabres are in a league of their own. Terrible chemistry, no accountability, mentally weak, poor goaltending. And really, there’s zero help on the farm so no hope of getting better soon. That’s a product that has declined. I’m shocked if they get 10k per game after January unless it’s Canadians coming to watch their teams. To blame it on the negative media though is a reach.
