  1. Darby was rated in the Top-30 of cornerbacks this season and they play New Orleans next weekend. This is a brutal loss for the Eagles.
  2. The Saints did the same thing to Buffalo at home last season. They are a ridiculous offense, Brees is so good. But yeah the Bengals D has been a disappointment.
  3. I posted this in another thread, probably should have posted it here. But yeah i pretty much agree, at least for the Jax game. Regarding Barkley, it's not being talked about how (i think) he purposely under-threw some deep balls. It gave the WR's a perfect chance to track the ball, stop, and outleap the defender. Brady does this alot and I hope Allen can learn something from that. I'd keep Barkley as the starter at least for the Jacksonville game. The last two home games were stinkers. Give the O a chance to keep it going. It's inevitable that Barkley will falter and have a bad game or half. At that point transition over to Josh Allen for the remainder of the season.

  5. I’ll also give them credit for pulling Barkley off the scrap heap, getting the fast returner off the Denver practice squad and putting some younger guys back in. Now they need to deal with those Divas WRs. Kelvin and Pryor. Those guys can’t get their uniforms dirty. Embarrassing lack of effort
  6. Barkley vs. Jags. If he does well again, stay with him. If/When he falters bring in Allen to finish out the season.
  7. Kelvin and Pryor can both be released on Monday. They are cut from the same cloth. Unless the ball is thrown perfectly into their hands or chest they make zero effort to go after it. Just embarrassing lack of effort
  8. Barkley is solid. He’s gonna take some chances but hit on a few too. And he has a nice touch. I like him.
  9. Just trying to stay patient here... I told myself I'd give them this offseason and 2019 to get this thing corrected. We shall see. But the success of the Bills and McBeane are directly tied to the success of Josh Allen.
  10. Peterman is still on the team only because he's healthy,,,, and knows the playbook (which allows the team the ability to open up the full playbook in practice and games). When Allen is up to speed and Barkley catches up I think Peterman is cut loose. DA in my opinion would be good to have around as a mentor but i can't see them rushing back on the field anytime soon.
  11. This isn't a new thing. Happened two years ago as well. I remember listing $5 tix for the Cleveland game and another late season game. Ended up donating them. So glad I did not renew my season tix after last year. Now i cherry picked just a couple early games and sat at the 40-yard line.
  12. Since the retractable roof technology has been relatively perfected, I think the Bills should go that route. No need to build a permanent roof. I do believe a stadium in Buffalo should have no more than 60K seats. Keep it somewhat smaller and intimate inside. Can use a facility like that for years to come and be able to attract multiple year-round events.
  13. Jets 27 Bills 10
  14. I knew at the time when we had the #1 rushing attack that we would really miss it someday. Like now. I was Lukewarm about Rex but it was mainly the D that disappointed. They scored plenty and controlled the ball. He had Anthony Lynn on staff, and some solid coaches.
  15. I still think it's a pretty big game for a number of reasons. First off- ESPN2. It's national and a good showing is always great for recruiting. Also, players will want to showcase their talents for the next level on a national stage. With a win at Ohio, BG and in the MAC championship, that might position UB for a bigger Bowl game against a P-5 second tier team. Lose to Ohio and they will probably be slotted in for the Dollar General or Potato Bowl or whatever. Win and it takes the "anything can happen (lose)" possibility off the table vs. Bowling Green.
  16. Ryan Finley (QB) plays tonight for NC State. I like the guy. He's already 24 years old and looks like a polished QB to me, throws around 68% completions.
  17. Well that’s fantastic. Didn’t see that coming. Thank you Miami. Should make the path easier for UB.
  18. Ha. He's just starting to look and act like a Dr. Evil or something?!? what a strange dude. He should not be given the keys to an NFL franchise. Like giving a porche to a 16-year old party animal.
  19. Maybe. But I've been told several times we have this really solid defense. So if an old vet QB, who has not taken a live snap this season can roll in off the bench and shred our defense, then UGH! i think that would be very deflating indeed.
  20. It doesn't really matter about wanting losses,,because NO ONE in the NFL is trying to lose games on purpose. Teams may not have the same talent level but those who are playing, and coaching are trying to win. These guys jobs/careers depend on it. Losing and non-production gets people fired and/or smaller contracts. I can guarantee that McDermott is desperate to beat the Jets this weekend as are the coaches for the Raiders, Cardinals, Giants, etc..
  21. Yeah, it's tough. If he gets offered $2M from some P-5 school to bolt, UB can't match that. But maybe he likes WNY and being a big fish in a small pond so to speak. He seems to like stability.... and starting over somewhere else (going through the growing pains process) may not be appealing. Hopefully with the new indoor practice facility on the horizon, any potential new coach would not be starting from scratch anymore. That facility looks really nice. UB should be able to reload in the MAC arms race going forward.
  22. Yup. Pay the man, or go back to the unknown and maybe be a bottom feeder again. After we played Rutgers, there was a 5-page thread on their board about Leipold and their fans wanting RU to hire him. His name is out there and it's up to UB administration to keep him around.
  23. No. If he's not mentally tough enough to handle the learning curve and adversity, then he won't cut it in the NFL. I don't believe you get better by sitting and watching for a season. And for all his faults, Allen has led the Bills to two NFL victories. That's not an easy thing to do for this club. So play him.
  24. I'm off any "Let's lose" talk. Win the game. Win every game and get Allen in there now. I don't care if he takes his lumps.
