  1. That's fine, like the reverse with us and KC I'd rather drop the regular season game and get our vengeance in the playoff rematch.
  2. The Redskins Super Bowl loss. I taped it on a VHS cassette like we often did back in those days. I took the cassette outside that same night an threw it against a big tree as hard as I could. Felt good to smash it into a 100 pieces. I also never re-watched any parts of the last two KC playoff losses or the Cinci debacle (which i attended).
  3. Cool that it went to a game 3. That meant it was on ESPN2 for all the country to see (including me), and they got to three-peat in front of the home fans. It all looked great on the telecast.
  4. I don't think so, but a loss is definitely on the table. And even if the Bills lose, they will likely start the season 6-1 or 5-2 anyway. Also, a loss gives Buffalo the revenge factor back in their corner for a potential playoff matchup. It's tough to beat the top AFC teams twice in the same season as we know from KC.
  5. Cool, they should name the trophy after Dion based on all the politicing he’s done the last few years about having an O lineman award.
  6. Was he at the owners meetings? It said he passed peacefully in his sleep. RIP Jim.
  7. The Tush Push is a football play. It's weird that it would be banned to be honest. The Bills used it successfully more often than not. If there were crack back blocks and leg whips, etc.. going on I can see it being banned. But it's just large men pushing other large men to advance the football. That's a football play.
  8. There's probably so many awesome flag football players that aren't in the NFL, the USA really could smoke every country with amateurs and college guys. Any NFL players would certainly give the event some extra status, but in my opinion wouldn't make the level of play that much higher.
  9. Everyone says Keon specializes in 50/50 balls. Well guess what, QB's nowadays don't love throwing 50/50 balls. The goal is to throw like 30+ TDs and 5 int's in an entire season. You aren't throwing single digit Int's with 50/50 balls.
  10. I've tried that in recent years and no, it didn't work out. It was better to purchase sooner and not have to stress about it. That's what I did for this coming season. Now if you're the type to wait until the morning of gameday to see if some people desperately need to unload their tix for cheaper then that might work. But for me to save $50 or whatever, I'd just rather have the tickets well in advance.
  11. Tickets were very expensive on the secondary market last year too. They've steadily gone up as the Bills have become a perennial contender. Fans from all over hear about the tailgates, the Mafia, etc.. and want to experience a game in Buffalo. It's a bucket list kind of thing for opposing fans too. I thought my best chance to get a decent price was the New Orleans game.. but that's not the case. It's really the only Sunday afternoon daylight game when the weather is still decent. There's a big demand despite the opponent not being the greatest or a rival. I feel like i got a good price paying nearly $500 total for two lower level corner tix.
  12. Ha, I said the same thing last season. It's hard to beat the really good teams like KC and Baltimore twice in a season. And it's equally hard for those teams to beat Buffalo twice in a season.
  13. If KC goes 6-3 or better in their first 9 games, they will lock #1 seed again. The second half of their season is way easier than the first half.
  14. Some friends are telling me the schedule is so light that those last couple games won't even matter, they will be resting people. I disagree. This is the year they need to gun for the #1 seed. It's the best chance to get to a Super Bowl. No playoff road games.
  15. The Bengals need to make the best trade they can and deal him. The relationship is fractured.
  16. No travel excuses this year! i don’t care how many teams they play off their bye weeks
  17. I hope the Bills three games vs AFC heavyweights (KC, Baltimore, Cinci) are more in the front half of the schedule. I don't like playing these teams in the playoffs shortly after the regular season meeting.
  18. Maybe it's a little wishful thinking but I watch a lot of Maryland games (that's another story).....and I always thought Prather looked like one of those players that would perform better in the NFL than college football. Kind of like Dawson Knox in way, just didn't have that many opportunities in college but when his number was called he made the play and looked very smoothe doing it.
  19. If he picks off Josh Allen he will act like he's some masterful player. If he does not pick off Allen, there are no stories written and there is no accountability. Seems like a win-win to say it.
  20. I long for the days of haggling with DirecTv over pricing for the upcoming season. I practically had a script year after year lol. Now it's just bend over and take the price.
  21. I heard Beane on one of his many interviews recently. I forget which media this was with but the interviewer was really pressing him on James Cook. Beane just calmly shut it down and said..."Look, James Cook is our running back. He's under contract and he will be playing for the Buffalo Bills this season. There's nothing else to talk about". It does not sound like Beane is entertaining all the off the field nonsense that Cook and his team are putting out there.
  22. Oh yeah, Erie County is littered with flea bag motels. I’m sure the draftniks from Sheboygan will love it.
  23. Apparently the only cities to bid for the 2027 draft were Washington DC and Denver. So I'm not really sure what the appetite is for NFL teams/cities to host this event? I suspect that by 2030, Buffalo will want to host the draft with the new stadium being the centerpiece. Being a longtime member of the league, the NFL will throw them a bone.
  24. I've thought the same. The weather in Buffalo in April sucks. So much chilly rain flows across Lake Erie, it will be 75 and Sunny in DC and 48 and rainy in WNY on the same day. I personally don't think every city in the NFL "deserves" the draft. Green Bay looked nothing special to me,, they set up a stage in a parking lot, whooopeee. Keep it in the big cities.
  25. The sports gods throwing a bone to Buffalo by giving them an indoor lacrosse dynasty.
