There will be but a lot of us don't care. Playing important starters in preseason games against dudes trying to make teams is a bad idea. If you have very young starters and guys trying to get established like Cam Ward or Caleb Williams, then yes they should get out there and play a bit.

In my league I've been awarded the #1 pick. Who would you guys take? This league is very high scoring and RB's are the obvious premium picks (last years season totals below). The top 9 RB's in this league outscored Ja'marr Chase. I'm thinking of taking Jahmyr Gibbs but I can make a case for Bijan as well. Baltimore is going to be a tough one for sure. Even if we lose though, the worst I see the Bills starting out is 5-2.

You still hear that about John Harbaugh down in Baltimore. That he cares about preseason and it matters to him for culture reasons and season prep. Now under the Lamar era his teams have accomplished less in the playoffs than Josh and McDermott. But Harbaugh has a Lombardi trophy on his mantle so I cannot dispute his methods.
