  1. lol they’re booing the crap out of Russ after one horrible 3rd down pass
  2. I agree. i said that during their KC game! that they would regret not starting Dart vs Chiefs
  3. Well, That Kaylee Hartung is a scary lady
  4. This is the thing… when an established team in the NFL runs into a super hungry team with an up and coming QB. It’s hard to match that energy. and Philly is struggling with that.
  5. The overhead shots from drone or helicopter look like pretty good coverage. But all the views I've seen from inside the lower deck or field level looks like a lot of people will be getting rain or snowed on. I think we can agree the upper decks have the coverage and certainly if you are in the last 10-20 rows of upper deck you are not getting rained on....but you're also not feeling any warmth on those chilly but sunny late fall days.
  6. Nice but that overhang ain't covering sh*t really, it's good for the wind diffusion though.
  7. I must've missed this thread first time around. But to think any pro football players would make a bad play on purpose to end a streak is silly. The home winning streak, the streak of not losing the turnover battle, the SNF or prime time winning streak... all came to an end vs New England. There's no guarantee they will start new streaks in the positive direction. Maybe they lose the turnover ratio for 5 of the next 6 games. You just never know how sports goes? That's why we all love the NFL... it's unpredictable week to week.
  8. My opinion may not be popular but I don't think Josh is at his best when he's planted in the pocket scanning the field for options 2 & 3. That's a Joe Burrow thing, or even Mahomes, Goff, etc. I think Josh is at his best when he's moving around, rolling out, running for 7 yards and getting out of bounds, etc... He's definitely gotten better at standing in the pocket and throwing some accurate passes. Sometimes the WR's are working in unison with Josh as he's scrambling around trying to make a play and they get more open... thats when the special happens. I also feel like he takes some shots from defenders while hanging in the pocket, they love to whip Allen to the ground when they get ahold of him. They enjoy roughing him up.
  9. I'm not disrespecting the Falcons defense, but i think game scripts has had something to do with their rankings and they've only played 4 games. Against Minnesota, JJ McCarthy was terrible and looked like he'd never played QB in his life, but that was a good defensive game that skewed their numbers way down. Carolina had a pick six and another TD or two set up by turnovers. The Panthers had a huge lead and didn't possess the ball for long drives and didn't need to, skewing the stats. Atlanta also got to play the Commanders with backup QB Mariota and no McLaurin. The first game against Tampa was impressive D, but they still lost.
  10. We’re in a place where only a Super Bowl appearance will be a successful season. We’ve waited long for KC to be down a rung or two in the AFC hierarchy, Baltimore is temporarily off the map, and upstart Indy, Jax and maybe Denver are the biggest challengers. If the Bills can make a trade for a CB and get some guys back there’s no reason to not win the AFC. So yes, a loss vs middling Atlanta will not be taken well.
  11. Oh no, Orlovsky on ESPN says the Bills are on “upset alert” this Monday. Beware.
  12. I do not buy the trap game angle,,, as they had their "trap game" scares when they were huge favorites over Miami and NO and both games were tied or barely ahead in the 4th Qtr. Like every recent season, I think the Bills fall victim to their regular season "greatness" and how Vegas and media anoint them as SB favorites. The players since week 1 feel like no matter how iffy the game is going, they will pull it out at the end...because they are the Buffalo Bills. Well guess what, when the opponent wants the game more than you? a comeback is not always going to happen. McDermott does a nice job trying to keep the guys humble and hungry but it's human nature as a player to think your team is awesome and nothing bad will happen. They forgot about attention to detail in the NE game, and how hard they need to outwork the opponent. Simple as that.
  13. This whole strategy by Buffalo pisses me off. It's the same as the AFCCG game last season. I believe the Bills had just tied it 29-29. I told my son, play to win and don't let KC dink and dunk down the field easily for a FG and maybe a TD. Then of course we allow it by playing soft and then everyone considers it a "win" because they only allowed KC a FG to go up 32-29. NO, it was a Loss...because we allowed them to take a lead with 2:30 remaining. And you aren't going to get down the field easily against a good defense in their house., which was proven to be the case.
  14. Yes. in the long run the Bills will be proven right by having smaller capacity. It will be fine. In the short run, while the team is very good and with the novelty of wanting to experience the new stadium... fans will pump of the prices of tickets on the secondary markets to extremely high levels. Speaking of high prices, I just paid $300/ea for the Saints game tickets, lower level corners and the Bucs and Chiefs are way more. So the outrageous prices are in full swing to say goodbye to Rich Stadium.
  15. It's fun.. the threads about retiring Mr. Brightside, being tired of everyone eats, never wearing the rivalry jersey again, etc. are hilarious.
  16. At times it sounds like a cop-out type of slogan. Like we don't have a legit #1 WR downfield so let's call it "everyone eats" so all the receivers buy in and Allen isn't pressure to throw the ball to anyone specifically. I mean let's be real, "everyone eats" does not apply to the RB room. James Cook eats 5-star meals every week in the running and passing game but the other RB's go starving,,,, because they don't produce!
  17. There was a famous head coach...I forget who, that said any head coach lifespan is 10 years max, regardless of how well they do. They have an expiration date.
  18. The smaller capacity is not that big a deal. I'm sure they could sell 75-80,000 seats today because the Bills are a white hot commodity in the Josh Allen era. But it's not too long ago at all there would be swaths of upper deck seats empty. Anyway, even in the lean years at the new stadium (over the next 30 years) there will still be demand. The Bears Stadium today only holds 61,500. Detroit, Vegas, Arizona and Washington are all less than 65,000. Miami, Cinci, Minnesota, New Eng and Indy are all in the 65-67K range. I'm tired of hearing how the Bills screwed over the fans by lowering capacity.. Jeez, buy a season ticket or save up and buy some tickets on the secondary market, stop complaining and enjoy. This ain't Dallas or Los Angeles here.
  19. The few times i’ve watched Penix i’ve been so unimpressed. But i’m guessing with the Bills hands-off cushiony secondary he will have a nice completion %. Someone needs to step up with a pick. Thats what happened to him in the Panthers game.
  20. Yep. he didn’t go by record with this shtick. It eye test. and throughout the show he think KC has a very good O an solid D. Once they button it up. Conversely he is very down on the Bills. Which maybe is perfect, they play better with a chip on their shoulders
  21. Yeah, he's still bullish on KC. Says despite the score KC has their best offense in a couple years. Bad pick six and penalties cost em but thinks they will be a big factor in January.
  22. Nick Wright made a good point today on one of the morning shows.. He was talking about Baker Mayfield in that the Bucs can live with an INT per game because they push the ball down the field and make up for it with explosives. So it may end up being a 3 to 1 ratio. He brought up how the Bills were like this with Allen prior to last season.. The turnovers were not as harmful as the numbers because they made up for it easily. But if the team gets conservative, you can't turn it over at all, that will kill you. The Bills have been way too conservative, especially in the first half of their games this season.
  23. Cowherd did his Herd Hierarchy today after week 5. His week to week rankings. He dropped the Bills from 2 to #7 this week. His comments - Bills don't look right - Defensively they just can't stop the run. Poor in the secondary - Not too worried about the O, but lacking the jet fuel they've had in recent years.. something is off. - Watching vs NE, very surprised how quickly the Pats closed the gap on Buffalo in the AFC East 10. Indy 9. LA Rams 8. SF 7. Buf 6. GB 5. KC 4. Phil 3. Den 2. TB 1. Det

    Keon WTF?

For a couple years there, the organization was getting criticized for not have any big bodies for Josh to throw to....but then speed became the flavor of the month. So now we have a bigger body who can't separate.
