If I'm the Bills i allow Josh to get his head clear, sit this one out and watch Matt Barkley run the offense for a week. I think Matt has enough ability to manage the game and get it done. Tennessee's defense is tricky. They aren't New England but they disguise a lot on nearly every play. Let's see Josh come back in 2 weeks vs. Miami and really get it going.

The guest from MMQB who was on with Murph and Tasker is pretty down on Josh Allen. Said not only has he been mostly subpar this year but feels he has regressed from the end of the 2018 season. So there ya go.

I listened to the on-demand audio of Jeremy sharing the news. That was extremely tough to listen to. I can't imagine experiencing it. My wife went in to pre-term labor with our twins. About 8 weeks early. They were really small but made it ok and are healthy teens now. Just can't imagine.. very sad.

I love BUF but they are not an elite team and doesn’t surprise me if they struggle with inferior teams like Cinci. The Bills have a mediocre to poor offense with no explosiveness. Great D though.

I think Josh would’ve found a way to win that game yesterday. He plays best late when the game is on the line. We needed his ability to get away from pressure on those last couple drives. Now that being said, Barkley may be a great play for this Sunday vs Tennessee. They won’t need 40 points to win. The Bills need a game manager for this one. With a few days of practice and 1st string reps, Barkley should be good to go. I suspect we will see a nice short/intermediate passing game with Matt. And if Singletary is back that only helps. I feel like the D is due for a big pick six or fumble return. I’m fine with Barkley getting the Titans game.

As shown by the Football Night in America crew last night, Tennessee found their secret sauce for offense yesterday. Mariotta can’t sit in the pocket and read a defense without getting sacked so they just did quick timing passes and short dump offs yesterday. It was very successful. I’m sure the Bills will see a heavy dose of this on Sunday and should be prepared.

I thought the regression started against Cincinnati. I recall thinking through 3 quarters this guy is hanging onto the ball forever. Not seeing the open receiver and throwing several inaccurate passes. I’m not even gonna rail on him about scrambling Backwards a few times. Bringing the Bills back for the W gave people amnesia about how mediocre-poor he played for 3 quarters. I like Josh. I hope he gets it together

Let’s put it this way, the two Patriots guys I know we’re bummed out when Josh Allen got hurt because as they claim “Josh won us the game”. The two times they’ve seen Allen they think he is the worst QB in the league. but I’ll chalk it up to New England. He will look better or at least decent against most NFL teams. I suspect in Dallas he will have issues. As Bills fans we just gotta hang in there. This season Josh Allen is not making any explosive plays with his legs. That’s different From last year. He’s trying to think too much instead of just balling.

Josh could play 20 straight games in Baltimore and he wouldn’t throw for 342 yds in any of them. Not with his abilities, our offense or receivers

I said this in a thread on friday and people were killing me. So many think Josh is revered nationally. For the most part people outside of WNY think he’s slightly below average to “sucks”.

A couple guys I know who are Pats fans have seen Josh Allen only twice now. The Pats games of course. They think he is one of the worst QBs they have ever seen. I’m trying to defend the guy. I thought he was pretty average to below against Cinci. I thought he sucked today. Our receivers aren’t the greatest either but he misses dudes all the time. Cmon man, he’s better than this

Overall the Bills have nothing explosive going on offense and that could ultimately cost us a playoff season. I can easily see going down to Tennessee and losing a 17-10 type of game. That’s a big game between teams that will be competing for only 2 wild card spots

Such a shame. Allen was needed late with his escapability and he’s always strong at the end of games. NE lucked out with this one. Well, they purposely hit the QB with violence and purpose to make their own luck I guess

Stupid challenges and not taking the easy FG to make it a three point game was inexcusable imo. Overthinking it. Take points vs NE when they are on the table

I don’t want Allen throwing footballs up for grabs either nor do I want him to run backwards like he did last week when pressured. BUT, I do not want him to be scared to make a play. If the coaches, fans, media constantly beat on the guy over every mistake, he will lose what makes him great.
