Yep, should be blue jersey/white pants at home. That's the best look. Don't know why they make it so complicated. I can live with the standing Buffalo uni once a year but don't understand why they can't outfit the team with the late 60's blue jersey to match. Why does it have to be white/white?
I always feel concerned coming off the bye week. It *should* be an advantage but that's not always the case. Sometimes they come out lethargic. For this game, however, the Bills are getting some guys back off the Covid list and I'm sure healing up so it should be a positive.
I like our offense.. but on the defensive side, McD and Frazier had better not allow Herbert to get comfortable. That's the key. They have a body of work to study and should come up with something...much like Belicheck did against young Josh Allen in their first few meetings.
Every Browns game is vs. NFC East, Bengals, Jags, Texans, Jets, etc.. At the end of the day they have 5 hard games this season.. (Steelers x2, Ravens x2, Colts).
I like what they've done in Cleveland and they are taking advantage of the schedule.
Cleveland is taking full advantage of 3 horrible Lake Erie weather home games. The Browns have a good running game and the Raiders, Texans and Eagles could not adjust in that rain and wind there.
Anyone else have an issue with this yesterday? Hill was not designated as a QB in ESPN leagues. He was still listed as a TE. So someone in our league picked him up last minute and started him as a TE. He went on to have 40 points (which is unheard of in our league for the TE position). I suppose our rules should have been modified, but all the offensive players can get credit for TD passes, etc.. The guy who will lose is pissed, but there's nothing that can be done now. IF ESPN doesn't fix it this week, we are making Taysom Hill ineligible to be a Tight End for this coming weekend.
Eh, after that Arizona game I'm fairly convinced the Bills are a decent team, but not special. They aren't going to be able to "impose their will" to win games like the Steelers or some other teams. The Cardinals really took it to Buffalo in the 3rd and beginning of 4th Qtrs...and they Cards really aren't that good. So that was disappointing. Good teams don't let that happen.
That being said I think the Bills go 3-3 in the final six and will finish 10-6.
Probably will beat LA, SF and Miami. But they will definitely lose a game or two that we all *think* they should win.
New England won a whole lot of games by throwing 45-50 times in the B&B era. But when they occasionally needed to pull a running game out of their back pockets, they were able to do so.
Buffalo needs to be able to do the same. They did it against the Pats a couple games ago.
Just correct it, but don’t get obsessed with the run. it just keeps opponents in the game and keeps it low scoring.
If Buffalo goes on to win the division and makes some noise in the playoffs, that Cards ending will be a little annoyance in a great season.
If the Bills go on to implode, i will blame it all on the crappy - lucky ending.
Anyone else thinking at the end, jeez we had to face Kyler Murray and D-Hop and they shredded us. The Vikes have to defend Foles/Bray at the end and pffft. what a difference. Bears offense stinks
Poor Miami might have to face Denver's backup QB on Sunday. I don't think Drew Lock is anything fantastic but ESPN said his ribs got banged up yesterday and he may not be able to play this week.
