Clone Single Player 11xs to Make Best Team
MJS replied to BillsShredder83's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't care who you chose. That team would suck and wouldn't be able to beat a normal NFL team. -
Nice! I make more than her. I'll put that on my resume.
-
Glad you aren't in charge, then. 32 out of 32 teams would have picked up his option.
-
I mean, Sammy Watkins should probably be on there. We traded away a first round pick to move up to get him. He had a few good games in Buffalo, but was hampered by injuries a lot of the time, then traded away and has been just a role player on other teams since then.

This is such BS - Britt Reid trial now postponed to Sept 2022
MJS replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is there a reason that postponement is such a bad thing? Just because it will take longer to come to a resolution? -
Which is the worst likeness: Baker Mayfield or Cristiano Ronaldo?
MJS replied to Seoulofstone's topic in The Stadium Wall
Mayfield wishes he looked like his statue. Ronaldo wishes his statue was thrown into the ocean. -
Would you still like JA if he was on another team?
MJS replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
If he was in the division, that would be tough. But I have liked plenty of good QB's on other teams in the past. Allen is competitive and smart. He plays a really exciting game. He is a good teammate. Motivated to be great. I don't see anything that is very unlikeable. And I have had tons of interactions with other fan bases outside the division and they all have nothing but positive things to say about him now. -
I didn't really read anything overly concerning there. He was stopped and deemed to be in accordance with firearm laws? I'm sure the NFLPA would have a field day if he is being disciplined for missing voluntary things. I guess we'll see where this goes.

So this thread is mentioning character concerns. Anyone know what those are with him? Obviously, it is a red flag when you want to move on from a 1st rounder after one season, but that stuff happens sometimes with major regime changes.

Hey, I produced a small chuckle.
-
Didn't even think of that. Even more impressive. That's 4,400 yards and 45 TD's if it were a 16 game season. That's incredible. Defenses were allowed to play back then and QB's were beaten into the turf.

"Lamonica was an All-Pro again in 1969 when he led the AFL with 3,302 yards passing and 34 touchdowns. The 34 TDs still stand as the franchise’s single-season record more than a half-century later." Those stats are good even today. Amazing.

Anyone hear WR Wan'Dale Robinson - Kentucky on Sirius Radio today
MJS replied to intimidatortj's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you are going to take a small receiver like that, I would prefer them to have elite speed. Otherwise, I don't really see the point. -
White is going to miss some time, and even when he comes back may take some time to get back to where he was.
-
And we don't have to worry about Tyreek Hill in the playoffs anymore. But let's not forget that McDermott's first draft pick in Buffalo was Tre White in the first round. McDermott, despite his track record with secondaries, must know he needs some additional talent there.

So, still worth muting since Collinsworth is involved. -
NFL GM Power Rankings (Brandon Beane/Sean McDermott ranked 1st)
MJS replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall
Rodgers wasn't doing his team any favors either. He certainly didn't look like the MVP in that game to me. -

But Green Bay always chokes in the playoffs, so it was meant to be anyway. -

You can say that, but they have completely turned over the roster on offense and upgraded at virtually every position. We also have two elite superstars on offense with Allen and Diggs, plus budding stars in Davis and Knox.
