Win percentage: - Kemp: 62% - Namath: 48% Namath was also a 5x Pro Bowler and 1x All Pro, versus Kemp who was a 7x Pro Bowler and 2x All-Pro. Namath led the league in INT's four times. I agree you can't compare stats to today's numbers. Namath was a good QB for his time, but I still think he is overrated merely for the fact that he lost more games than he won. He had 6 losing seasons. But he had that iconic Super Bowl win that was important in NFL/AFL history.

Would you be okay if Allen sat the entire preseason?
MJS replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wouldn't second guess a decision to not play him. But I do think there is some value in him going through live reps with a new coordinator/play caller in his ear and getting all the technical and logistical stuff ironed out before the regular season. Not to mention giving him some time with the new offensive starters. -
Force the crybaby to play out his rookie contract with the 5th year option and then move on. I would not want Murray as the QB of my team.

Tried it in Madden. It doesn't really look good. I prefer the white helmets, but I'm all for the 90's throwback red helmets a game a season. I prefer the 90's away uniforms.

Possibly this as well. Crowder is a good YAC guy, though. I think he is going to have a big year.

I do the same. I don't buy it every year, but every couple of years I do, and I buy it well after it comes out to save some money. It always feels like they don't change a ton, but if I ever go back and try to play the previous version it shocks me by how much worse it looks and feels. So yeah, they do have issues to address, but I think Madden is a fun game. I enjoy it. It gets more hate than it deserves.

He played pretty well for the Bills. -

I'd say there is an honorable mention for Bledsoe too. Flutie and Taylor are the first tier. Orton, Bledsoe, and Fitzpatrick are 2nd tier. Nobody else is worth mentioning, really. -

Flutie, Taylor, Orton -
I'd put these QB's ahead of him: 1) Jim Kelly 2) Jack Kemp 3) Josh Allen 4) Joe Ferguson 5) Maybe Doug Flutie So, the 5th or 6th best QB in Bills history (of course, that's not really saying much when you consider that the history of Bills QB's is largely filled with failures at QB.) I know some would put Fitzpatrick ahead of him. Not me.

Not even his own teammates corroborated that claim, and he quickly stopped claiming that. You interview the other 20+ people on the field who were in close proximity, plus listen to broadcast audio, plus review footage from every angle, etc. Garret's claim was baseless.

He must have taken notes when he watched Myles Garrett do that a couple years ago.
-
Unfortunately, I think he needs football and I worry about what he will do without it. But who knows? Maybe he is in a better place now.

So many shrimpy QB's are part of this. And it's in the Jets stadium. Definately a Jets fan.

Who says Herbert is a better passer than Allen? Herbert is a fine young QB, but Allen is better than him. Herbert hasn't even made the playoffs yet. Year after year the Chargers get pumped up in the off-season and everyone thinks they are getting over the hump, but then they find ways to beat themselves and lose games. I think they will end 3rd in their division.

I feel like Josh already has been getting favorable calls with roughing the passer and late hits. I don't remember it as much last year, but definitely in 2019 and 2020 he was already getting some of those protection calls, many of them borderline. Good to see. I'll bet you'll see that this year. Allen is the NFL darling right now. His face is everywhere. Everyone is talking about him. The Bills are really popular. Allen is really popular. The Pegulas have a new stadium in the works. They are certainly an NFL brand worth protecting. Nothing but good vibes from the Bills, and the NFL would be smart to harness that and protect the superstars on this team like Allen, Diggs, Miller, and White.

What season as a fan do you wish 2022 avenges for you?
MJS replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I grew up during the drought. Disappointing football was all I knew about. I'm tough. I don't need any of those crap seasons to be avenged. None of them are worth avenging anyway. It's all about the here and now. I watch the team today and I don't think at all about the drought years. I am soaking up what it feels like to be a fan of a good team, a team that is widely respected all around the league and by fans everywhere. It won't last forever. I don't need to waste any thoughts on the crap that came before now. -
Seriously. Josh Allen does more for his team than literally any other QB in the league. He is asked to do more than any other QB. Such an ignorant statement. The success of the offense is squarely on his shoulders unlike any QB we have probably ever seen in the game. I know the coaching staff and the GM are good and have done a good job in their respective realms, but you can say the exact same thing about Mahomes in KC, and they have better coaching than the Bills. Anyway, he is an idiot. I don't know why he is keeps digging the hole deeper and deeper, but he is just plain wrong about Josh Allen and almost everyone disagrees with him now.

Everyone already expects them to make the Superbowl and views the Bills at having one of the most talented rosters in the NFL, so McDermott would have to match and exceed those expectations. The only way to really do that is to have basically a historic season stats wise and only lose like a single game. McDermott deserved that award back in 2017 and probably 2020 as well.
