Always so smart of players to try to punch other players in the head while those players are wearing helmets plus cushioning on top of those helmets. Brains firing on all cylinders! Who are you going to hurt besides yourself?

Andre Reed heavily suggests that OBJ will sign with Bills
MJS replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe OBJ has interest, but that doesn't mean the Bills do. Guess we'll see. -
Dallas. Easy. And they won't win a playoff game. Not really. Not sure why there are so many Philly believers here.

I'm guessing alcohol was involved. If you are going to allow a bunch of idiots to have alcohol, you need to take away their ability to hurt anyone. Keep people away from the tunnel.

All indications from camp is that all the young guys and depth players at CB and safety are all looking really good, including the rookies. McDermott has shown throughout his career as a head coach and defensive coordinator that the secondary is his specialty. He seems to always get the best out of those players. We've had one of the best secondaries in the NFL since he got here. And I'm sure he lets Beane know exactly the kinds of guys he is looking for in the secondary.

Karlos Williams for sure. I'd put him WAY ahead of Kiko Alonso in Bills one year wonder fame. Another name to add is Mike Gillislee. Had that 8 TD year with the Bills, then went to the Pats and didn't do much there.
-
Ok. Well, was he actually driving recklessly?

Lots of praise for Epenesa so far in camp, and he has shown flashes in the past. There's no way he isn't making the team. Moss is likely the 3rd RB, and that's fine with me. But maybe Duke Johnson wins the job. Ford may not be a quality starter, but he is decent depth, and he has been getting First-Team reps with others being out with injuries. I see no reason to cut him when he is decent depth who can come in and play at RG or RT if they need him to. Yes, you don't want him as a starter, but you can do a lot worse as a backup. It's not like he has never had a decent game in a Bills uniform. He has. If he gets coached up, he could be fine.
-
Nope. All three will make the team. But they aren't starters.

I don't need any more measuring stick games. We know the Bills are good. Everyone knows they are Superbowl contenders. Just get to the game and win it. Plus, this isn't what the matchup would have looked like in the Superbowl last year if the Bills had gotten there. Both teams are different.

I'm this way and I'm in my early 30's. I actually think most social media has been pretty bad for general mental health and society at large. And I think it is more than just the lack of actual social skills that people develop. It goes a lot deeper than that. But yeah. I check Two Bills Drive and that's about it. I used to check Facebook, but I unfriended everyone except my direct family members and it was literally like being unshackled. I felt free after doing it. I can't imagine being chained to multiple services at the same time, like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. Although I do appreciate the Twitter addicts around here who scoop the relevant Bills news for us.

Warren Sharp fades the Bills - do they even get to 12 wins this year?
MJS replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills completely underperformed last year, though, by most people's expectations. It wasn't until after the Tampa game that they went on a run and became the team we thought they could be, and then Josh Allen and the offense REALLY came alive in the playoffs. So, detractors pointing to last year, which was kind of a disappointment for much of the year for Bills fans, shouldn't be a big surprise. The reason why there is so much hype now is because of how the Bills finished the season and then how Josh became Superman in the playoffs. This is nothing new. People just seem to be forgetting how last season went. There was legitimate concern for the offense for good portions of the season. Let me know when he says something. -
Thad Brown throws Cover 1 under the bus for practice videos
MJS replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thad has always been this way. He pretends to be likable sometimes, but always reminds us that he is not. -
The Chargers always find a way to not do it. Denver has too many new pieces. The Chiefs are better than the Raiders. So I think it's going to be the Chiefs. It's up to those other teams to prove otherwise.

Wait, is he not misguided, or is he not not misguided?

I would feel so weird trying to hand something to another person and asking them to sign it. It seems so strange to me. I can see the appeal in owning something signed, I guess, but I wouldn't want to be the one to go out begging for a signature.

OT: Belichick says that Mac's improvement is "dramatic"
MJS replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Jones has a pretty low ceiling because he is limited physically. But that doesn't mean he won't develop into a decent to good QB. He just won't be able to get into that elite range. The Pats have already shown they can win games with him. If he gets better they can continue to be a fringe playoff team for the foreseeable future, even win some playoff games here and there. If they build an elite defense they can even make a Superbowl if the ball bounces their way a few times. But they have a massive roadblock in Josh Allen and the Bills ahead of them, not to mention a conference full of talented, young QB's. But let's not pretend like the Pats can't be a good team with Jones. They've already shown that they can. -
Took too many hits to the midsection, I guess.

It's no great mystery. Money.

He's with Carmen Sandiego. Dang it! Beat me to it, although you got the name wrong.

Can he literally never say a single good thing about the Bills, even when they are Superbowl contenders? He has to always point out only negatives. What an exhausting person. Let me ask you this, Jerry: Has the Superbowl ever been a lock for any team in the history of the game? Why would it be a lock for the Bills? What a stupid headline. Of course it's not a lock for the Bills.
