Maybe at this point it is just best to not make assumptions on who we can keep and who we can't. Beane has proven us wrong on multiple occasions regarding who we can and can't keep.

Are ACL injuries no big deal anymore? The data suggest they are
MJS replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think they used to basically be career ending injuries. Now we are at the point where players can at least come back and make a go of it. -
Singletary has great contact balance...

The Bills need to acquire an enforcer on defense.

Why? -
Top 5 GM and a top 5 head coach. Both have done great things to turn this organization around and into one of the most respected around the league. Pretty amazing. Keep stacking the wins and go get a championship now.
-
They double dipped because they knew that they would be moving on from Hughes and Addison this off season.

Gilmore only cares about himself, so he'll go to the team who gives him the most money. I have doubts that the Bills will be that team. He is a good cornerback, though, when he plays hard. But the minute he is disgruntled about something, he'll go into self preservation mode and avoid all risk.

Haha, keep up the delusion. Whatever keeps you going. It's nothing like that. Josh Allen had amazing moments his rookie year, with a horrible oline and no talent around him and only a cursory understanding of NFL defenses. He showed his massive potential. Tua and Jones have shown their potential too, and it has a hard cap at average. Maybe above average if they overachieve.
-
They traded Wes Welker to the Pats too. They can't stop making dumb trades.
-
Jones and Tua aren't close to Josh Allen EVER, not just right now. Two mediocre QB's with no upside.
-
Dolphins are moronic. Don't trade within the division! Idiots.

Glad to move on to a new era of Bills pass rush.

Video: Von Miller Behind the Scenes of Free Agency
MJS replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Fun video. I liked hearing that his dad was really advocating for Buffalo. Josh Allen is a real draw for free agents, but also just the entire organization and the respect that they have built up over the last few years. Buffalo is one of the most respected organizations in the league now, and that is apparent. There was that video that Von did with Bruce a few years ago, so we know it isn't just him researching before he signed with Buffalo. He has been a fan of Bruce Smith for a long time. Maybe that started when he thought he would be drafted by Buffalo, but it's pretty cool nonetheless. I liked his quote "I've always had a little Buffalo Bill in my blood." -
If you could have had RJ call one famous Bills play
MJS replied to JohnBonhamRocks's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, he just never says anything new or interesting. Just all the same stuff he has been saying forever. Every touchdown is: "Touchdown! Touchdown Buffalo!" and then he describes the TD in such a painfully simple way: "Josh Allen threw the ball to Diggs, who ran it into the end zone! Wow!" -
I figured Darnold and Mayfield would be gone by the time the Bills picked, so that left me wanting Rosen. I didn't want Jackson because of the Tyrod years. I just wanted an NFL passer, not a running back who could also pass sometimes. The media told me not to like Allen, so I didn't. I don't watch college, so I gain my opinions from the talking heads and watching highlights and stuff. They convinced me that he was too erratic and that nobody could ever overcome a sub 60% college completion percentage. They also talked up Rosen a lot.

It never ends with this guy. I can't see how this ends with him keeping the team.
-
Hey, I've been waiting for this team for my entire life, basically. So happy it is finally here.
-
My Superbowl pick for last year was Bills versus Rams. Got half of it right, at least.

Some of them annoy me. Some of them I like. But there is only one that I can't stand and consider muting the TV for: Chris Collinsworth. I'll also say the Monday night guys were pretty cringe worthy last season. Those guys really annoyed me.

Bruce Arians steps down - moves to Front Office

There's some truth to that, I suppose. -

People talking up Bowles, but to me, he doesn't have the temperament you want as a coach. He is too reserved, soft spoken, and he seems lacking as a motivational leader. I actually think that is a great temperament for a coordinator, because he can stay calm, cool, and focus on getting the right plays called without getting too hyped up or emotional by what transpires in a game. But as a head coach, you want more, I think. -

How did it go? No wait. Don't spoil it for me.
