  1. Assigning random numbers to your whims doesn't ACTUALLY mean anything, you know. The Bills just need to go take care of business. They will be favored to win each of those games.
  2. Raiders seem to always play the Chiefs close. Maybe it could happen. Denver is a tire fire. There is no way. Their defense would have to intercept Mahomes 4 times and take 3 of them back for scores. The Seahawks game is intriguing, but we are still talking Mahomes versus Geno Smith... I just don't think they have the horses, but you never know. The easiest path for the Bills is to just take care of business and win out. Easier said than done, though. Oh my goodness, he does? He hasn't even played all the games this season!
  3. 1) Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs) 2) Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division 3) Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games 4) Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference 5) Strength of victory 6) Strength of schedule There are more tie breakers than that, but if we tie in the division than it goes to common games. Then conference record. We both have losses to New York and Minnesota. They have a loss to Cincy, so that plays into our favor if we beat Cincy. Both teams have a tied conference record right now, but a loss to us would give them a worse conference record, assuming both teams come into the head to head game without losing.
  4. The season is lost already for them. Might as well get higher draft picks (although they seem to trade those away a lot), so sit Stafford for a few weeks while they have an excuse. Makes sense to me.
  5. Allen's head is banged into the turf like that once a game, it seems, along with many other QB's throughout the league on a weekly basis. Only sometimes does it cause a concussion. It has to get hit just right, or just hard enough. One guy can be completely fine, and another not. The Tua hits are an example of this. I see plenty of guys take harder hits to the head without any problem. He hit it just right and he got concussed. It's not always about how hard it is. Sometimes it is about what angle the hit is, the angle of your neck and spine when the hit occurs, how much you are resisting the impact, etc.
  6. There is literally nothing to the rumor. Just a bunch of speculation and people refusing to believe that Josh Allen can have a couple of down games without there being some conspiracy theory behind it. Allen has missed time with injury before. If he had a concussion and needed to miss time, he would have. Similarly, they would have shut him down if playing with his elbow injury was a significant risk. The only possible thing is if only Josh Allen knew and kept it secret. But players are monitored during the game and he wasn't checked out. Nobody noticed anything wrong with him during or after either. The concussion theory is a huge, meritless stretch of the imagination.
  7. Even if he fell down in the end zone, it would not have been a safety. His forward progress would have him down at the 1.
  8. I think they were dumb to mention the ground at all when defining the rules. What they are really trying to do is gauge possession. When has possession been established? If you go to the ground and the ball comes out before possession is established, it is an incompletion. If possession has been established, it is a fumble. They say you need more than just two feet in bounds to establish possession. You need a "football move". I'm pretty sure Poyer took a third step in bounds. Shouldn't that be the football move required to complete a catch? Honestly, I think it was a pretty close call on this particular play, but there is enough there to argue that the play should have been an INT.
  9. All it takes is one injury for you to get right back on the Hines experiment train.
  10. Receiver is one of those hard positions to get in. There are so many great receivers out there. You need stats and accolades. Diggs needs to keep balling for a long time, and needs to keep getting pro bowl and all pro nods. A superbowl win or two probably really helps his chances too. But he certainly has the talent. Hopefully he has the longevity as well. He has great hands, great route running, and great competitiveness. He just has to keep it up for a long time.
  11. He is not being utilized enough, in my opinion.
  12. Maybe they meant for the Bills, like it was the first time the Bills had done it?
  13. Allen is the leading rusher, though. I don't think there is really anything to apologize about. The Bills running backs outside of Singletary had been pretty ineffective. The play calling went away from running the ball. There were legitimate concerns, and those concerns have been addressed with Moss gone, Cook developing and getting more opportunities, and the play calling sticking with running the ball more. They honestly seem to get demoralized early and after awhile it just looks like their whole team is just going through the motions. Belichick is also the least aggressive coach in the league. He is very conservative on offense. So if the defense has no hope in the offense getting a spark, that's another thing to demoralize you.
  14. That's probably true. I stand by my statement that I don't think he should have been ejected.
  15. Yeah, I know. I don't think it was flagrant and warranted an ejection. But honestly, I was not too bothered by it. It is what it is.
  16. You aren't allowed to hit them in the head. Doesn't matter if it is with your shoulder. Yes, the receiver was ducking down and he probably couldn't have done much about it, but that's what happenes sometimes. I don't think he should have been ejected.
  17. The Hamlin hit was a foul for sure. But he led with his shoulder and was probably trying to knock the ball out. The receiver was ducking down and got hit in the head. Hamlin isn't a dirty player. He wasn't trying to hurt anyone. And honestly, I'm surprised he was ejected.
  18. Really nice to see them stick with the run, for sure.
  19. Good win. They played smart football. Oline was pretty bad at times, but otherwise I liked what I saw.
  20. He did lead with his shoulder, but he hit the head and neck area. It is correctly a foul, but I am surprised by the ejection.
  21. Nope. He made a smart play. Just like he checked it down earlier to set up a field goal.
  22. Seems like the crowd is super quiet.
  23. Oh no, we have the spawn of Ed Hochuli tonight?
  24. The pass rush has not been solid WITH him actually. But a lot of that has been injuries. Hopefully with the others on the line getting healthy we will see improvement.
