Darn. My least favorite uniform combo two weeks in a row. Oh well.

Justin Herbert - fractured rib cartilage, day to day

No, I'm pretty sure that was the first hit where he stayed down for awhile. He got hit a couple of times after that though and was slow to get up. -
Justin Herbert - fractured rib cartilage, day to day

The hit where it happened didn't look like much of a damaging impact. I think it happened when he landed on the ground. The defender's helmet hit first and Herbert landed on top of the helmet on the side where his ribs were injured. -
‘It’s Over!‘: LeSean McCoy Rips Patriots Head Coach

Yes. The cheating scandals are definitely an issue. Nobody is going to forget those any time soon. Belichick has always been at the forefront of bending and breaking the rules. Some rules have been changed because of his shenanigans. -
‘It’s Over!‘: LeSean McCoy Rips Patriots Head Coach

Are there many good coaches out there with good win/loss records if you take away all their years with good QB's? I'm guessing there aren't many. I've always been impressed with what Bill Belichick has done with his defense. There were years when I thought their defense would be atrocious because of players lost in the off-season. He always gets it performing pretty well. However, as a GM I think he is below average. He has had some bad drafts. Often overdrafts players. He seems to get the right pieces in free agency, besides 2021 which was bad. But as a coach, this is just how it is. Winning coaches have a good QB behind their success. But those QB's and other players usually give a lot of credit to their coaches. Kelly and all the other 90's Bills rave about Marv Levy. So, we as fans can speculate about how much credit coaches deserve, but the players usually make it clear that the coach deserves a lot of credit. Bill Belichick is universally respected by other coaches, former players, etc. -
How does he not intercept that!?
-
I like Mahomes alright, but he does have a punchable face for sure.
-
Is there another way to judge actions? It was a dumb trade at the time and is still dumb today.
-
Yes. Cam was beaten up in the pocket and on roll outs. I'm sure the hits he took while running didn't help, but I only remember the vicious hits he took as a QB, not as a runner.
-
Just have to let him play his game. Honestly, the hits in the pocket can be a lot worse because you often are blindsided and can't protect yourself.

I agree. Seems like a big stretch to me. There's no evidence at all that Parcells has anything to do with Beane or the Bills. Just because Beane may have met him once and got his number doesn't mean he is consulting with him regularly about how to build the team, which players to take, etc. I'm sure Parcells isn't out there watching endless film on prospects, so what value outside of general, high level strategy could he provide? Stuff that Beane already knows anyway.

In the TBD survivor pool, only 34 out of 100 are left. Insane after only 1 week.
-
Whelp, there I go. Broncos screwed me over. So yes, it was a bad week for survivor pools. I should have found a home team to pick. Eliminated because they did not win. He usually can't, but Nate Hackett had other plans.

The third down call was stupid too. Just horrible play calling all night.
-
Horrible play calling. You have a dynamic QB who has one of the best deep balls in the game and you call dink and dunk pass plays, screens, and runs all night. Especially bad in the red zone. Plays getting in late all game long. Russ is probably overrated a bit, but that game was not called to his strengths and he looked hamstrung by his own offense all night.
-
Shouldn't have even been in that position. Poor play calls on 2nd and 3rd down all night. Throwing it behind the line of scrimmage and running it when they need chunks of yards. Man am I happy to be a Bills fan. That was painful to watch. Broncos fans must be freaking out.
-
Hackett is a moron. What was that?
-
Replay looks like he got the first down. I think the spot was a little short. But interesting they measured it and it seemed like the ball was a bit short and they still have them the first down. That's weird.
-
I'm just guessing, but I think it's because he is really good. Again, just a guess.
-
Well, and getting the play call in so late too. They've had multiple delay of game penalties and often have to hurry to snap it to avoid more.
-
Calling stupid plays. Bad red zone play calling. And how many times has he called a running play on 2nd and long?
-
It's on the coaches (and the refs a bit). Poorly called game.
-
Hackett making boneheaded calls on offense.
-
He will make a few critical mistakes. That's who he is. That's what he does.
-
Yeah, he's the best QB in their franchise's history. It would be like us booing Jim Kelly.
