  1. Going into a draft planning to draft only on one side of the ball is not smart. What if you get to your pick and there are no offensive players there worth the value? And what if you trade back and get to your next pick and it is the same? You have to follow your draft board. Besides, the Bills need depth on defense as well. Draft the best player available on your board.
  2. Really? What did she do or say that was so upsetting to you?
  3. Take the best player available within reason. But a 1st round offensive player would be a breath of fresh air for sure. Can't go defense 1st every draft, can we? (Outside of taking Josh Allen, obviously). Yeah, Shaq seems to thrive here. I'd re-sign him too, as long as he will be reasonably priced, which I imagine he will be.
  4. He's basically the only player who hasn't been abysmal at tackling this season. His missed tackle rate is actually good. I think we should keep him. He is a good player.
  5. I don't use the term, don't buy merchandise with it, etc. But I also do not care one bit if others like it and use it. It's not my cup of tea, but I can see why others like it.
  6. Yep. "Stop being happy people! You are not allowed to be happy!! Stop this at once!"
  7. Good name. I also look at Jakobi Meyers and think he could be a lot better in a real offense with a real QB throwing to him. He is also a free agent.
  8. He was seen as a #1 but not an elite, top 5 receiver in the league. He had two 1,000 yard seasons and was a deep threat for Minnesota. There was speculation that he could do more in a different offense and with a different QB, and that proved to be correct. Since coming to Buffalo he has been among the league leaders in yardage, has 2 seasons of 10+ TD's (he had zero in Minnesota), made the pro bowl all 3 years, and was first team all-pro once. His success in Buffalo has surpassed anyone's wildest dreams of what he could be. He was a good WR before coming here. Now he is top tier elite.
  9. I think it's a little too reckless, personally. Diggs was seen as a good receiver, a potential #1, before he got here. He hadn't made a pro bowl. Now he is seen as a truly elite #1 receiver. Find someone like the pre-Bills Diggs. Someone who clearly has potential, but hasn't realized it fully yet.
  10. The Bills can restructure to create a ton of cap space. Beane knows what he is doing.
  11. I don't think it will happen this year, but I predicted it will happen after next season, and I'm sticking by that.
  12. The league is lucky that it was these two coaches. Their response to the situation was perfect. I don't have a lot of confidence that many of the other coaches would have responded similarly.
  13. Even if they have a higher percentage of off schedule plays, Dorsey is a part of making that possible as well. But surely everything is easier when you have an elite QB.
  14. If your QB is "pretty bad", how is that not a significant reason for a collapse?
  15. Off script plays and scramble rules are a part of modern NFL offenses.
  16. Come on. Even Patriots fans are more nuanced than this.
  17. You'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.
  18. He has been good, but I wouldn't go that far.
  19. Yeah, why wouldn't they think that? That thread was full of posters worrying about Tua. It was embarrassing and silly.
  20. I do watch. He is not what he used to be.
  21. Ah, you seem to have discovered the nature of NFL football. Every team has ups and downs.
  22. Rodgers just isn't as good as he used to be. That's part of the problem. We've been saying for YEARS now that they give him no help, but elite QB's elevate the team around them and make do with sub-par weapons. They have to, given their exorbitant contracts. Not saying Rodgers isn't elite, but at what point do people start giving him some of the blame?
  23. Dumb teams will continue to do dumb things. They make desperate moves and will continue to do so.
  24. Wow. Some really horrible, Debbie Downer posts in here that you quoted. Some Bills fans are just not emotionally strong enough to handle the inevitable ups and downs of a season.
  25. That's all it takes? Sign me up! I'll do it myself.
