How much of a drop off is Ken Dorsey from Brian Daboll (if any)?
MJS replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm assuming there will be some growing pains, but there is no reason why he can't be just as good or even better. Two years from now he will be a head coach. The Bills OC position is now a fast track for head coaching opportunities. Hey, if they think they have a big advantage running the ball against certain teams, I'm all for them doing that. Or if their passing game isn't working and they need to make in-game adjustments and run the ball more, great. They need to be good at what they do. If they need to run the ball, they need to be good at it. If they need to pass it 60 times, they need to be good at it. The best teams are the ones who can adjust how they attack when they meet a road block. -
Josh Allen joins Jordan Palmer’s podcast “The Room”
MJS replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh is in such high demand. He is going on every show and every podcast. -
Does it really matter?

When do you typically get big game, game day anxiety?
MJS replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
I do get a bit of anxiety for playoff games. Not for regular season games, though. I just look forward to them. -
Oh, I take pride in not knowing what it is.

Is Allen routinely fooled by pre-snap disguises?
MJS replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just a lazy take. Everyone said Allen sucked. He is dominating now, so to explain it they are just saying that he is so physically gifted that he overcomes those things about him that should make him bad. But it is a bunch of bull. Allen has progressively made strides in not just the physical aspects of the game, but the mental as well. He beats both zone and man coverage. He makes correct reads. He looks off safeties. He doesn't stare down receivers (well, sometimes he does, like most QB's). He is just as cerebral as he is physically gifted. -
I am not able to make any picks yet in the pick'em league. It says "Week 1 matchups to be determined". Anyone else have this issue?

I have a lot to learn about dances. I'm just old fashioned, I guess. I like to watch football but don't pay attention to their dancing and their outfits and their social media posts, etc.

The most impressive thing was they all knew what "the griddy" is (had to google the spelling). I would have been like "You want to know who is the most gritty? Like who is the toughest?" I feel like an old man at age 33. These darn whippersnappers and their tik toks and their dances.

I'm assuming that guy they have running around is not actually Josh. They just had him run on camera for the final scene.

Bills - 34 Rams - 31 Close game. Bass hits the game winning field goal.

It was a pretty gut wrenching loss, but I think Bills fans try to make it bigger than it is. Sometimes you lose. You go back and try to win next time. If you lose again, you keep trying. No need to make it more than that. We've got a great team. We've got a great QB. We have a great organization. I'll keep rooting for them to win. I don't need to pull out a pitchfork when they lose.

100 yard rusher vs 300 yard passer winning percentage - interesting
MJS replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
When you are up, you run the ball to run out the clock. That could inflate your rushing stats. When you are down, you throw the ball more, inflating your passing stats. -
I like 4 to 6. 2-3 on both sides of the ball. But I can also see it from the perspective of, whoever is a great leader on your team, make them a captain. So if you have only 2 great leaders, only have 2 captains. But if you have 9, have 9 captains. But 9 is a lot. It probably is diluting it by that point.
-
McDermott adding more captains every year. Started with 6, then went to 7 for a couple of years. Had 8 last years, now 9 this year. Nothing wrong with that, but it is interesting. Guess we have too many quality leaders.

Most talented player in Bills franchise history?
MJS replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bruce Smith is #1 without a doubt. After that is a rock, paper, scissors contest between a handful of players including Simpson, Allen, and Thomas, all three of whom were/are top of the league elite in some fashion during their careers. -
Week 1: Bills at Rams on TNF in NFL Kickoff Game
MJS replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Very surprising to see Spencer Brown starting given that he hasn't spent really any time with the 1's up till now. -
Is Boston Media finally starting to sour on Bilicheat?
MJS replied to muppy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Deserves SOME blame? Who else could possibly be to blame? He is the GM and head coach. He controls everything. If there is any blame at all, it rests 100% with him. -
Vikings beat them plenty. They split with them the past two years in a row.
-
Vikings over Packers.

I want the final score to be 6 to 3 with 5 INT's each. So whoever actually wins with a field goal, it still kinda feels like a loss. Here's to hoping they both play like crap and do their best to lose.

I have to not forget to set my picks. That's what did me in the last two years.

For sure. I can even throw a pass or two. But I've never punted...
