  1. Past hour
  2. Hyde is old and washed coming off two neck injuries. He needs to hang it up. See what we got with the young bulls this year. I like Rapp and Bishop as the new safety duo.
  3. Lol people here really acting like Coverage Sack Rousseau is anything other than a JAG run defender. No chance I’m paying him $20M to stuff the run and get 3-4 clean up sacks per year. You can find a cheap vet FA ala Shaq Lawson to do his job and won’t make a difference in the team’s record. if my choice was to pay Rousseau or Spencer Brown $15M per season, I would choose to tell them both to kick rocks and find their replacements in the draft or free agency. Not paying JAGs to big extensions, only difference makers
  4. I wouldn’t get anyone’s autograph. It’s kind of stupid.
  5. It’s a garden weasel.
  6. I get your point. It's just that all I'm looking for are players who are reliable receivers. I don't care about a players ceiling when we are looking at a 4th or 5th receiver option. If they can get the job done, I'm happy, because I doubt that these receivers we are signing to 1 year deals are a part of the long-term plans for the team. Then again, I could be wrong.
  7. Not surprising. Hopefully he really comes into his own this year. Beane has thrown a ton of resources (draft annd FA’s) into the DL and I think it’s fair to say we’ve all expected more impact. The 2021 draft class by Beane has been average thus far. The Basham pick still makes me scratch my head. Round 1: No. 30 - Gregory Rousseau, DE, Miami Round 2: No. 61 - Carlos Basham Jr., DE, Wake Forest Round 3: No. 93 - Spencer Brown, OT, Northern Iowa Round 5: No. 161 (from LV) - Tommy Doyle, OT, Miami (OH) Round 6: No. 203 (from WAS through LV, MIA, and HOU) - Marquez Stevenson, WR, Houston Round 6: No. 212 (from NO through HOU) - Damar Hamlin, S, Pittsburgh Round 6: No. 213 - Rachad Wildgoose, CB, Wisconsin Round 7: No. 236 (from CAR) - Jack Anderson, OG, Texas Tech
  8. If he put up those kind of numbers, he would need to be paid and paid very well given his age and wear and tear (so long as he stays relatively healthy). You shouldn't delegate a large number of the Cap to a Running Back on a second contract. Keep that position young and inexpensive. It's modern roster building 101.
  9. I agree...much the same way every FA was "going to the Pats and going to become a star" is the same with "ohhh he's about to sign with he Chiefs. Just watch". Same story. Same dance. Different partner.
  10. That's for sure relevant. Losing Super Bowls, however, tends to be a setback that carries over into the following season, doesn't it? Not a lot of runners-up are remembered fondly as excellent teams.
  11. The Bills have a their own version of Mahomes, but can’t get it done. So I guess we have nothing to cover up
  12. All laid out how they were able to rig 2020 through mass censorship under DHS.
  13. I'm not an autograph guy - but probably wouldn't if I was. It's really a drag we had to be in the same division as that guy. I mean, seriously - the most dominant QB & franchise of all time, and we had to just get through playing them twice a year. It was like going to the dentist playing them - just something to get over with.
  14. So who were we drafting to break the high cover 2 shell? Worthy? Nope not even Hill can do that against us, amd no one in the draft was going to in cold weather. Which other than Moss, Tom Brady did that in NE.
  15. Many already mentioned so I'll try to dig a little deeper Double Dragon Ikari Warriors Black Tiger Xevious Cabal
  16. It reminds me of how when Brady was with the pats they could do no wrong because they won all the SBs and beat the bills like 22 straight times or something but in reality a lot was being ***** up and it was all just covered up by Brady. Once he was gone, everything crumbled. Same will happen with chiefs whenever mahomes gets injured or leaves.
  17. Not a Dallas fan in any sport but for tonight keep the pedal on the gas, nice 1st period.
  18. I personally like the makeup of this offense. If you want to go watch fast Smurfs, you can watch Miami. Not only do we have a QB that will run over a linebacker, we now have WR/TEs and RBs to run through them. This offense will wear defenses into the ground. And once that happens, Josh can throw some daggers, ones only he can throw, to put them out of their misery.
  19. The best reporters I follow all say pretty confidently that Hyde hasn’t decided what to do yet, and that if he decides to play there’s probably a roster spot waiting for him. (They also think Hyde probably makes an announcement at his charity softball game.) If he decides his health isn’t worth the risk of an NFL season, but isn’t quite ready to step away from the game, the PS could be a win-win.
