I hear what you are saying in that despite the Bills getting a lot of points thus far in weeks 1-2 it feels like they are at times struggling to move the ball and the offense feels "difficult" at times. But I watch some boring Josh Allenless football when other teams play and most NFL offenses are a struggle to watch a lot more so than the Bills. It's rare that a team just has a breezy offensive effort. NFL defenses even ones that aren't elite make it hard to score. The Bills even before they "turned it on" against the Ravens scored 25 points a pretty healthy number for a game. The Bills against the Jets only scored 3 points on a short field via turnovers they scored 27 on fairly lengthy drives. I do think Brady has to do two things. One is make the in season adjustments to the offense to keep it from stagnating. Two is "save" some of the best stuff for the post season like Andy Reid does.

Meanwhile, always fun to drop in on Finheaven during Bills week

I have been banned from that board for at least a decade. I used to use disposable emails to still get through, but now it's just pointless. Used to be a blast back in the day in the Depths Of the Sea (I think they call it BigBry's locker now, nvm Bigbry was a tool). They had some good posters at the time WharfRat and a few others. It's a shell of it's former self. -

9/14/25 Week 2 GAMEDAY Bills @Jets post game Thread

I think itās going to be an unpopular thought here but I actually think the love affair with Tarron Johnson is a huge issue with our defense. Heās a good player. He might even be a little better than good. Heās absolutely nowhere near as good as he gets credit for. Teams have no issues converting 3rd downs on us, guys running wide open all over the place and he gets hurt multiple times a game. The other thing he does is make our coach believe we never have to put a 3rd LB on the field. They never want to take him out. Him being out yesterday was probably a blessing in disguise. Iām not saying heās not good. I just feel like the overall game plan becomes a little more sensible when he isnāt out there. The coaches think heās erasing things that he just flat out isnāt. Heās not 2017 Poyer and Hydeā¦Yesterday was a great day for our defense. Those days are few and far between. -
Which is the first game we will lose this season?

I was looking at this game yesterday, 2nd to last week, but what formerly wouldve been last week of the season. Its so important to lock up the 1 seed prior to that game IMO. I DO NOT want to have to play them right before playoffs, with a possible rematch, if we handle our biz this year. Absolutely crucial to be able to sit our guys that week fully, or roll them out for a 1st quarter only "stay sharp" only kinda game. Could be even bigger if we got to rest our guys/play vanilla, while getting a chance to see their starters while they need to win a game late!!! Thats far away, but handle our biz week to week, and this could potentially really pay off IMO -
Holy crap, I'm finally coming to Buffalo! 53 years in the making

F*** John Fisher. Owner of the A's. He blocked Davis' bid to build a football only stadium on the grounds of the Oakland Coliseum saying it was A's property, then turns around and rips the A's out of Oakland. Yes. I will be forever bitter about this. -

As it turns out, that instinct was exactly correct. The ***** that shot Kirk had assistance in planning from a ring of leftists, both online and in person. His boyfriend is currently snitching his way out of a gas chamber. Rounding up the shooter's boyfriend and their immediate circle of friends is exactly what ended up happening anyway. -

Which is the first game we will lose this season?
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Fan in Chicago's topic in The Stadium Wall
There will be a last years rams-ish game where an up and coming team beats us in a tough game and everyone thinks we blew it to a bad team and panics haha Iām trying to think of who itās gonna be though im scared to say Tampa in case they look bad tonight š. Was going through this in another threadā¦we lose to bad non-division teams as infrequently as anybody and as far as within our division goes I woulda thought the road jets game would be the toughest and our only other matchup with them is week 18 where they will probably want to lose.. kinda hard to see a loss outside of maybe chiefs or eagles but Iām sure there will be one at some point.. -
And the Bills whipped your asses this week and could only get out of their own way to score 10 points ! Sure every team has to have a little luck but the skill that comes along with t will show how bad a team is by the end score so what does that say about your J-E-T-S jokey jets ?? GO BILLS !!!!

It's just 2 games in McDaniel "we'll be okay" Bills are next. "Mama!"

Iād have to imagine that the Raiders are up thereā¦.seeing as how theyāre on their fourth home city (if you count Oakland twice) in the last three weeks. -
Having experienced a minor shoulder injury in recent years that took an entire year to heal, I can appreciate how troublesome this injury can be. Milano is a young, strong athlete compared to me, lol... so I hope he can recover in just a few weeks.

2021: 31st in points allowed 2022: 28th in points allowed and last in total yards allowed 2023: 23rd in points allowed and 19th in total yards allowed 2024: 7th in points allowed and 20th in total yards allowed You would be correct.

It had to do with both the offense and defense, it was a team win - the Offense ran the ball well, made plays when it needed them in the passing game, and had over 400 yards. The D played well and dominated the Jets on the first few drives to set the tone. So yeah the D played their asses off, and they contributed to the win as much as the O did. It doesn't have to be either one or the other, it can be both things.

Joey Bosa signs with Buffalo. 1 year, $12.6 million
T master replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Through the first 2 games looks as if he can continue that it will have been a good signing and he sounds was if he's in a good place enjoying his time here so far and can't wait till he gets comfortable in this scheme ... -

For the record, I watched the end of the Bengals-Jags game (I didn't see Tyrod's garbage time TD) and the biggest plays in that comeback were: BTJ dropped a short pass in his chest at the goal line, giving the Bengals the ball back A VERY soft DPI call on Travis Hunter that felt like a "welcome to the NFL" message from the refs Also, Browning threw 3 INTs. People keep quoting Browning's 4-3 record in 2023. Lets break that down. Those wins were against: The Jags in a game where they lost Lawrance on the first drive The Gardner Minshew-led Colts The Nick Mullens-led Vikings in OT The Browns in a meaningless week 18 game. It just became a story because the first three wins came in a row. The losses were two against the Steelers and one against the Chiefs. BTW, every Bengals fan I know was pissed about those wins. They knew they were just losing draft slots.
