Its like freaking clockwork somone pops up with some mysterious injury lol. Gotta place blame on someone. He hurt his toe man….this has nothing to do with the training staff. I promise Quote

The boot keeps you from flexing the joint and gives it time to calm the inflammation down. I’m going to roll with this. Quote
Generic_Bills_Fan Posted 30 minutes ago Posted 30 minutes ago Could be hopium but ‘medical walking shoe’ sounds pretty minor to me Quote
Fleezoid Posted 27 minutes ago Posted 27 minutes ago This team needs to take up dancing lessons because apparently, they keep stepping on each other's feet. 1 Quote

QB Bills Posted 26 minutes ago Posted 26 minutes ago I'm choosing to believe it's Kanye's latest snow boot design. And because Benford took a team friendly deal, he could only afford one. Quote
Simon Posted 25 minutes ago Posted 25 minutes ago I don't know much about medical walking shoes, but I know trying to play corner and plant/cut/accelerate with a bad toe is a legit issue that is not simple to get around. 1 Quote
clearwater cadet Posted 22 minutes ago Posted 22 minutes ago I've never seen a team sustain more injuries in practice than the Bills, what the f#*K do they do out there? Quote

Its like freaking clockwork somone pops up with some mysterious injury While maybe an evaluation of the training staff is merited in the offseason, it's a jammed toe. I doubt the training staff has a "toe" program of exercises that can prevent a jam. Edited 10 minutes ago by ColoradoBills Quote

I've mentioned this before but while everyone makes post after post bemoaning the strength and conditioning staff anytime an injury occurs - I've begun to wonder if McDermott isn't pushing the guys too hard in practice on a weekly basis. Obviously, this is just speculation on my part. As the media only sees the opening walkthroughs and no one knows what a McDermott in season practice looks like, besides the people there. But the thought popped in to my head the Wednesday following Week 1. Ed Oliver was doing a presser that day and he was asked about the difficulties of putting the pads on Wednesday following a grueling Monday Night Football game. He said something along the lines of 'we killed each other for 60+ minutes on a Monday night and we're here on a Wednesday morning going full go. But that's just what we do' (or something like that). Ironically, that was the practice he hurt his foot in. Again, no clue if it's true or not. But we've replaced strength and conditioning staffs at least once (maybe twice, I can't really recall). The results remain the same. And the number of injuries we incur outside of games seems to be more than others. The only thing I can think of is maybe McDermott goes full contact too much in the middle of the week. Quote
