It would be out of character for 17 to raise a stink and make demands but it's probably the only thing that would force some needed changes.

It really is an indictment on Beanes team building that he keeps having to bring back old re-treads like Philips, Gabe, Poyer, and Lawson.

 

Guys that can't cut it on other teams come back here and get meaningful snaps, or even become our starters.

When you go shopping at midnight out of necessity, you should expect to have fewer options. 

 

We can’t go 5 deep at every position, and you never know which unit will have the brunt of the injuries. We used to start the season like this to find starters at the last camp cutdown. I remember those days clearly, and I’m not panicking just because Lawson’s name has been mentioned here. I’m not thrilled, but I’m not panicking. It is what it is.

I understand some of the negative feedback but what else can be expected at this point of the season with limited space?

 

Promote Fox and put Shaq on the PS

Shaq at least brings some energy on the field IMO.   & is a decent edge defender against the run

I agree.  I have no better ideas.  Just keep him out of the hookah bar.

Eagles trade for Jaelen Phillips, Steelers pick up George Pickens, Dallas acquires Quinnen Williams. All of them instantly contribute. 

 

The Bills? Tre White, Jordan Poyer, Dane Jackson, Jordan Phillips, and now maybe Shaq Lawson. 

 

It's just so discouraging.

I wouldn’t call Gabe an old retread. He got overpaid by another team, got injured and then found his way back. And he is still relatively young.

And they all come back and PRAISE the McD and Beane culture....which seems to be a requirement to bring them back. I know its happens on other teams, but it sure seems to happen more here with players who are 30+ and can't stick anywhere else.
