sven233 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Nope.....bad idea. He just showed up and is already looking like he has the potential to be CB1 sooner rather than later. I am good with focusing his attention there. That said, I understand what you are saying and why you are saying it. But, that's on Beane to actually find a truly explosive WR that can strike fear into defenses. We don't have anything remotely close to that, but Hairston isn't going to be that guy. However, I am not opposed to having 1 or 2 plays in the playbook on offense for him in a break glass in case of emergency got to have it situation. Something that wouldn't be on tape that no team has seen before. He is super explosive and if you can design a couple of crazy plays to get him the ball in space that the other team can't game plan for, I am open to that. But no.....not a few plays every week in place of Coleman. I am talking 4th and 2 to ice the AFC Championship or Super Bowl or something where the defense sees him come on the field and has no clue what he is going to do. Quote
BuffaloBillsGospel2014 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Did you not see what just happened to Travis Hunter? Hairston is starting to gain confidence.... Confidence with that speed could be something special, something we haven't had at the position since Gilmore perhaps? Quote
gobills404 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago If we had a backup DB with 4.2 speed I’d say sure throw them out there on a gadget play or two and see what happens. Hairston is too small and too important to risk letting him get blown up by a DL or LB. Small sample size I know but so far he looks like he’s already the best DB on the team. Quote
buffblue Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Maybe we can try Deone Walker out at quarterback too! He'd be a handful to stop on RPO's 2 Quote

oldmanfan Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago We are leading the league in yards/game. A big part of that is the run game and Coleman’s blocking helps a great deal. What Brady needs to do is give him better routes, but we are doing this without having a so-called burner to stretch the field. If all you want is a guy that can run fast straight down the field then just bring back Hamler. Quote
Rousseauisnoschmo Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I'm thinking 15 bong hits of a hybrid sativa/indica blend with a thc percentage in the high 80s plus a bag of magic mushrooms to come up with this thread. Quote
Royale with Cheese Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Just have Allen draw the play in his palm with his finger…Hairston won’t even need to know of offensive playbook. Quote

BigDingus Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Or we could just sign any other JAG with a fast 40 time & serve the same role without risking our defense. I know Coleman's been a dud, but c'mon... lets at least be happy we're seeing a 1st round pick on defense be successful & not push it. Quote
Sierra Foothills Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Speaking of Hairston... how about Xavier Worthy's stat line... 7 targets, 3 receptions, 23 yards... Quote

Next to Reed, I think he has been one of our best blocking WRs in years. Quote
