  1. We might not have seen him yet, if Josh gets injured for an extensive period of time then we’ve got Kyle Allen as backup, God help us
  2. Maybe he can learn how to build a team around a superstar QB that doesn’t choke in the playoffs from Harbaur… oh wait
  3. Someone else mentioned that they didn’t used to think anxiety was anything until it suddenly affected them and I 100% agree with that. I’ve never been diagnosed with any mental health issues, nor have I been diagnosed as neurodivergent, but over the course of my life there have been a couple of times where I think I’ve had depression and I am 99% sure I have OCD and am probably on the spectrum (I have daughter that was diagnosed at age 5 and I’m pretty sure she got it from my side of the family). Last November my father was sick in hospital and also I had my contract at work terminated, and it was like gut punch and a knee to the face all in one. We had savings but only enough for 6-8 months of me being out of work, and a large mortgage and other expenses to pay. My mental health fell off a cliff. I was working out how much equity we had and what house we could afford if we had to move. I was terrified that I wouldn’t be able to get a job again and I work in IT and whilst I work with Microsoft technology I worried that most of my experience has been with on-premises software whilst a lot of the world seems to be moving stuff to the cloud. I hardly ate for 3 months, even when the company reversed their decision and offered me another contract for another 4 months so the immediate financial worry subsided. I still had massive anxiety and didn’t sleep well worrying about what happened at the end of the 4 months. My heart was beating out of my chest almost constantly. In amongst this, my father passed away at the end of January and I was still worrying about money and paying the bills when I should have been grieving. I found a new job and started at the beginning of March and the people are really nice, but I still get occasional anxiety now when I think about the new skills I need to learn, AI taking my job etc… Financiall I have an inheritance from my father, but I fell guilty about spending any of it, although I will use it to pay off a chunk of my mortgage to make us financially more secure. I echo what people say about doing exercise and joining a community. When things were really dark for me in November-January, I completely forgot my exercise routine and it didn’t help me. I am now learning to cope with it by going to a men’s’ mental health meeting every Monday night where we all just discuss our weeks, get things off our chests and just generally shoot the sh*t. There are quite a few around the UK, so there must be some in the states too as you guys are generally more clued up on stuff like this than we are. Good luck young blood, hang in there
  4. Off topic, but the jets couldn’t intercept Nate Peterman
  5. I think people are saying Maye isn’t that good and had an easy schedule to can’t do it again more in hope than expectation. I hope he sucks too guys, but let’s be realistic here, he’s very good and his second season was far better than Josh’s, he’s gonna be good for years so we’ll have to be better too
  6. Great news, keep going brother 🙏
  7. He’d be good for the draft though, knows all about picks
  8. A lot have said we overpaid for Moore, but the more of these deals get announced I think we got a good deal for a multiple 1000yd year guy who is rarely injured
  9. Not worth the price imo as we already got DJ Moore and drafted Bell, so the need for WR isn’t as high. If we were spending that kind of capital it should have been on Myles Garrett
  10. Let’s hope he’s a better agent than a player otherwise he might be a Jerry Magiire with no clients for a while. one idea for an agency name - 5 star - in honour of the 5 picks he threw in the first half 😂
  11. I would pay good money to see a team do this, it’s like something from the wolf of Wall Street 😂
  12. At least the cavs won one!
  13. Speaking as a fan of European football, I miss high paced entertainment. The game has become all about stats and numbers nowadays, and it’s suffered because of it. We had teams thinking they had to follow the Guardiola model of passing the ball to death before scoring for many years which culminated in man city just boring the life out of everyone, and now we have the opposite with Arsenal boring everyone to death with their win 1-0 from a corner style. I miss end to end games, PSG v Bayern recently was the only really entertaining game I’ve seen in ages
  14. Much as I would love a Brit to get on the bills roster, this has a hint of desperation about it and I think he’ll be cut again
  15. 💯 And he doesn’t spend half his time shopping for yellow jackets in macys
