That was Ed.  There was a rhyme about him that became banishment fodder.  Ed got married and stopped posting.  His wife seemed to take over the wearing of the family’s pants.  His screen name was something like IGTB81…..something like that.

There was nobody as funny as Hogboy. Nobody. I am still lucky enough to read his trolls on other sites (until he gets banned). In his own weird way, the man is a genius. He can develop a complete character/personality in a split second.

 

He sends me trolls in the morning and I send them around to friends. I feel like he could make money at this because he is just so great at upsetting people but he disagrees. His goal is never to hurt others. He just wants to get people angry and upset.

 

Btw, one of his trolls was that the Damar Hamlin injury was fake, because they didn't perform an "alltopsy."  When people react and say this is only for dead people (and criticize his spelling), he claims that a "partial alltopsy" should have been performed. 

 

The guy is GREAT!!!!!!!!😁

I really enjoyed that former board member who tried to do movie review threads.  He did a movie review thread of the Smurfs movie and hilarity ensued.  I think he disappeared after that one.  😂 

 

Edit: I think his handle was SelmonSmith6378 or something like that.  Claimed to be a college student down in Florida I believe.

I miss when @Ralonzo had more time and would do hilarious detailed descriptions of all the Super Bowl commercials in real time.

He's dialed it back (probably because the full effort was underappreciated by most) and it's still good, but he used to go off and it was absolutely hysterical.

Ice has been back for quite a while.  Unless he's since been suspended or banned.   I can't recall what his screen name is but the name has Oklahoma in it.  I keep forgetting to ask Rich how he got back in.

The LOST (tv show) discussion thread after each episode. We had a user here tgreg who worked at that Bad Robot production company but did not work on the show. The thread had a really huge page view count because people everywhere came to read it here on TBD. Truly a cultural touchstone time that has not & will not be repeated.

The LOST threads were epic...so much fun and thought provoking.

 

In terms of memories so many so little time. When Jay "Rosened" the board I can remember the fun aftermath.
