The Steelers didn't have much, if any, film on Flacco on the Bengals. As teams figure out what the Bengals are doing on offense, Flacco's success is going to diminish. In his previous stints as a backup, Flacco has tended to look good early on and then his play drops off. More importantly, as somebody upthread posted, quarterback is not the Bengals' problem. Quote

SoTier Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Just now, Chaos said: you seem to contracdict yourself. My points were independent of each other. Flacco's success fades as teams figure him out. At this point in his career, he doesn't seem as capable of overcoming that as he did when he was younger. Regardless of how Flacco plays, the Bengals problem remains their defense. It would have been their problem even with a healthy Burrow ... as today's game against the Jests showed. While Flacco threw an INT on the last play of the game, they had the Jests down 15 points in the fourth quarter and let them score 2 TDs, a 2 point conversion, and a PAT. 1 Quote
BillsFanForever19 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I would be, if Burrow were still back there and their O-Line wasn't looking even worse than their usual bad. In their current state? No. There was a time where they terrified me. But it's been a couple years. Nowadays I'm more concerned with the Patriots and Colts of the world. And of course, January Chiefs. A different animal than Sept-Dec Chiefs. 1 Quote
Sweats Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago The only thing scaring me right now is that my wife spent all day making some god-awful soup and she expects me to eat it for dinner. This dinner thing is a true legit concern.......i don't care about the Bengals right now, i care about my guts. 1 4 Quote

Boatdrinks Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Sure. I am afraid of any team that can pass the football well. The Bills can’t stop it consistently, and they don’t have a serious passing game of their own. Quote

I don't think he scares his teammates with that 'frosted' hairdo. 😇 Isn't a QB supposed to be, a 'leader of men'? 1 hour ago, Sweats said: The only thing scaring me right now is that my wife spent all day making some god-awful soup and she expects me to eat it for dinner. To be fair the only thing that was closing in the second half was the point spread lol That game was over when it was 31-7 lol Notre Dame could not stop Ohio State when Ohio State wanted to score Quote
ChronicAndKnuckles Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I feel sick for Joe Flacco. He balled out like it was the 2012 playoffs. That defense is historically bad. 1 Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Same situation as before. We aren’t “afraid” of anybody. When asked, “who would you rather play in a must win Bengals/Ravens or Steelers/Broncos/Chargers/Jags/Patriots/Colts, the answer is still that we want to avoid Burrow and Lamar.” When you have a 1 game, “must win” you ALWAYS select the teams that’s less dangerous. 1 Quote
