Hamlin and Samuel being out isnt monumental, though I wish it was for what Curtis eats in our cap.

Moore plays, Hancock plays.

It will be interesting to see if Milano is placed on IR this weekend.  Maybe they think he can be back for Chiefs and hold on making a move.

Hoecjht and Oji back next week for practice.  Assuming Codrington is a sure cut.  Then a bunch of possibilities: Franklin, Ciarlo, Solomon.  Balance of S/T play and who contributes most as a backup.  I'd say Ciarlo is the 2nd obvious cut

Hot takes have become like a religion w/ the sports punditry.  I have been slack-jawed all week - a last second loss to a division opponent in a sloppy game, and all of a sudden the Bills are frauds, the Patriots are "back" (whatever that means), and Drake Maye is now a top-tier QB.

If we lose to Atlanta, the next 2 weeks will be next to intolerable. I probably wouldn't watch anything. Not what I'm expecting, though - I think Sunday was more of a wake-up call for this team to start taking this season seriously.  Atlanta is a very good, solid team, but if this Bills team is who I think they are, this one isn't that close.

that is an insult to Milano. Samuel is in his own special tier of “injury prone” levels.

It really is rather ridiculous…

eagles were 2-2 going into the bye coming off a loss to a bad falcons team last year and won the superbowl,

kc the year before that was 5-5 their final 10 games and won the Super Bowl

2022 chiefs lost to a bad colts team week 3 then the bills a couple weeks later and won the Super Bowl

2021 rams had a three game losing streak around their late bye and won the Super Bowl

2020 Bucs lost 3 of 4 heading into their late bye (one of which was a 38-3 loss to a bad saints team) and won the superbowl

it’s more rare that teams win it without having some adversity in the regular season tbh.  There is not a team in recent memory that won a Super Bowl without people claiming ‘that team is done’ in the regular season 😂

It's not that bad IMO.

Dawkins, Rapp and Williams all full is good news.

If Ed comes back, it lessens Sander's probability of being out.

Kincaid is the only one I hope can clear things up and play.

Milano is the only player that hurts, Samuel and Hamlin are not critical.

Good analysis, bro!

You should put this analysis in @Success’s thread about too much panic as well.

Kudos to both of you for trying to bring sanity and balance.

Go Bills!

It’s the remaining SCHEDULES

Are margin for error now is 13-4.

The Pats might go 12-5.  Find me 3 losses on that schedule.

And we could very easily lose 6:

At Atlanta

Vs KC

At Houston

Vs Tampa

Vs Philly

And at Pittsburgh won’t be easy either.

I said this in August and I’m standing by it now - bc it’s what was rearing its head v NE

If we don’t win, it’s bc we don’t have a legit WR1.

Not CB2.  Not Safety.

WR1

We play all the defenses that demand you have one.

I think of Samuel as being prone to possibly taking a roster spot one day.

There, now he’s due for a few big plays. :)

It's not that I don't share some concerns on that - but the Pats pulled out the stops against us. That's not the team they have been to that point in the season.

I could see them losing to any of the following:  Saints, Browns, Falcons, Bucs, Bengals, Giants, Ravens.  And I doubt they sweep the rest of the division, so maybe a Jets or Phins loss, or both.

I won't rule out that they could go on a run - but I just don't think it's likely. They're really not that good.

I read an article that says he has an oblique injury.

I wish they'd be more straightforward about reporting injuries..

I don't see Samuel as a big loss as I see him as being redundant to Elijah Moore. Yes, Samuel played RB in college so he's a bit more physical but they both play that gadget slot role.

Shaq Thompson kinda went crazy last week tbh lol. Might be a long term blessing he found some playing time

I think it's inevitable that we'll be seeing more of Buffalo Joe and Ciarlo in the upcoming weeks.

Only thing i’m slightly concerned about is I hear this Dijon Robinson is pretty good.

We should see if we can get Pinto Ken to jinx him by using Grey Poupon for his pre-game ritual.

If we aren't good enough to beat the Falcons, none of this matters, and I hate to say it, but it might be in our best interest to be in a position where we can draft and/or sign an actual difference maker on DEFENSE because we have been in the same damn boat since 2019-2020 and we know how that story ends every single time.

For a while it was Allen and Diggs

Now it's Allen and Cook (who I'd argue is better because Cook actually shows up in the playoffs)

But meanwhile, our defense has become worse. Somehow.

This defense has never had a DL that is capable of causing chaos in the post-season.

You think KC wins any of those Super Bowls without Chris Jones? MAYBE the first one, but DEFINITELY not the last two...

How would that work?

If Ed is back, I would think that would increase Sanders probability of being out.

This is really OT, but shouldn't it be "... Milano and DT TJ Sanders were..."?

Or is this correct in English?

I’ll raise you a neither. sentence reads  fine without a word there.

"Two new ones" ("ones?") is also a weak choice. Buscaglia is great; his writing isn't. At least he's human. Pretty soon, it'll all be AI.
