Never watched a game with so many 'nail in the coffin plays' - against us every time it seemed there was hope. Then to actually execute down the stretch when one miscue would have lost it. Just Unbelievable. Gonna be hard to imagine Bass getting his job back this year if Prater keeps delivering. Even the last kick with running the kick team out there with clock running when the dude just got here. Incredible it was down right embarrasing for most of the game.. 1 1 Quote

Pretty ideal start for a possible second year jump eh he took a ton of crap in the game day threads just saying he has his doubters still. and NO this team is not perfect just a perfect score tonight an we deserve to celebrate it! Sure Cook made a big play and Keon made a good catch of the deflection and Benford had a couple of nice plays. But this game came down to 91 and 17. They just refused to lose. I’m gonna toss one more guy into the made some plays: Kincaid. not only catching, but his blocked was better tonight from previous years 2 1 1 Quote

I don't know I should feel about this game. Allen's play is the only part of it that's sustainable. But if it helps us get the #1 seed that's all that matters. 1 1 Quote
Generic_Bills_Fan Posted September 8 Posted September 8 10 minutes ago, BeastMaster said: The fire McD people (myself included) have been proven correct every playoffs, so I don't feel foolish at all Even this game was exactly the problem...Josh saves McDermott from a complete failure that was 1000% on him. From the defense putting up no resistance, to taking points off the board, to chasing points early...he did his best to help this team lose, and in the end Allen and a Henry fumble saved what would've been a crucifixion of McDermott and probably the worst loss he ever had as Bills coach besides 13 sec I mean it’s tough…the chiefs offense at times and the ravens offense are both freakishly good offenses led by hof qbs. It’s a tall tall order that I’m not sure another random coach coming in would improve on the results. If y’all have a name in mind I’d be curious to hear who it is. McDs defense FORCED that fumble lol Ed made an incredible play. I get criticizing mcd this isn’t full disagreement at all but like let’s tip our cap a little bit too occasionally. It only makes the criticisms even more meaningful. I don’t like the whole ‘when the defense makes a play it’s luck but when they don’t mcd sucks’ type stuff Quote
Norcalbillsfan Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Have we found a team that actually has even more billsy losses than the actual bills? Must be a gut punch to ravens fans, bills had absolutely no business winning that game 1 Quote

billybob71 Posted September 8 Posted September 8 The plays Allen made, just so many tonight, avoiding sacks, big throws etc. take just one of them away and bills may not pull this out, he had to be near perfect to win this just don't know what else to say, we are lucky to watch this kid play football 2 2 Quote

But in those runs it seemed to me the safety's and LBs were getting eaten up or taken out of the play. Henry hit the holes and hes unbelievably fast 1 Quote
Maine-iac Posted September 8 Posted September 8 (edited) A lot will come out when we hear about the film but I want to believe the DL played pretty damn well. I know Henry had a lot of yards but I'm not sure if that's on the DL or the guys filling in the gaps behind them. I do know that the line put more heat on Lamar passing than I've ever seen. Ed and Bosa both made huge plays knocking the ball out because they were 5 yards deep into the backfield. Edited September 8 by Maine-iac 2 Quote

NoSaint Posted September 8 Posted September 8 2 minutes ago, DapperCam said: A few thoughts - This game is exactly like what that Vikings game was a few seasons ago. Except this time we were on the winning side! - What is the record for yards per play and your team still lost? Ravens must be up there. - Safety is a big problem without a solution on the roster. At least this is about as stressful as it gets for a safety. Hopefully repetitions make a difference 1 Quote
