Yeah the opposite of playoff Ravens, where your QB can play a solid, SAFE game and wait for the Ravens to beat themselves.

Something that stuck out to me  was Jones and his teammate arguing near the end ,  could be cracks in that culture 🤷‍♂️

 

While Jones is a great player he is a sensitive B word so Tranquill probably made him cry

I think the offense is gonna be fine…it feels like parity has been eating away at that defense though and idk if they have the horses to run spags’ scheme super effectively

 

not sure rice is gonna be himself until next year…knee injury recovery is pretty tough

It's just a game - but the Chiefs looked OLD, and slow.

Hollywood Brown looked good, which is definitely a positive for them. Rice may not start strong, but by playoff time he should be in good shape. 

 

Same with Worthy, unless he gets hurt again. The Chiefs just feel inevitable.

 

Until proven otherwise, I expect them to be good to go come playoff time.

I loved seeing the Chiefs lose, but I will not overreact to game one of the NFL season. Too soon to draw any big conclusions.

For some of this game, I felt like watching the Chargers was like watching the Cowboys last night. You could tell the Cowboys weren't going to close, and that's how I felt about the Chargers coming out of the half. But the Chargers closed. Their defense built momentum throughout the second half, and their offense never lost focus.
