It proves the macho street cred of those who criticize him. They’ve proven they’re not being sentimental in any way which is reserved for inferior betas. By preferring someone like Ricks, or ignoring all logic, they bolster their own self image of being an alpha. Point taken. If it makes you feel any better, there’s a large faction of Chiefs fans who are up in arms over bringing back Derrick Nnadi to be a backup because he was below average during his 6 seasons as a starter for the team. Evidently there are quality starters out there just lining up to be 2nd and 3rd stringers if only you know where to look. 2 Quote

Williams would be a much better option if available, IMO. My fear is that the Chiefs cut him and the Bills sign him. My hope is that the Chiefs cut Nazeh Johnson instead in which case you’re more than welcome to scoop him up. Quote

But I think it would be depth and he wouldn't be my choice. But this regime constantly values experience in the Defense over talent. It's why we keep bringing back Jordan Phillips. It's why we dug up the bones of Josh Norman. I personally think Douglas is toast. But I know they'd turn to him over anyone else first. Especially this close to the start of the regular season. They wouldn't trust someone new to come in and quickly get down his scheme. And/or they don't want to put in the extra work of teaching someone the Defense with everything else they're focusing on. I personally would bring in someone else. But realistically, I know they wouldn't do that. Edited August 26 by BillsFanForever19 1 Quote
SoTier Posted August 26 Posted August 26 Will we find out more about Tre White's injury via Hard Knocks tonight? He's not been put on IR, so he's on the active roster. 1 Quote

Aisle 6, about half way down on the right. Hard to believe teams have such a hard time finding them in the player store. 🤷♂️ 3 Quote
Dat Posted August 26 Posted August 26 Oh no wonder we couldn’t find one, they put them behind the defensive tackles. Hey wait a minute, these are all dented, this one doesn’t look like it could make it to halftime. 1 Quote

Wonder if on purpose to smokescreen the Ravens, but honestly I'd rather him not play week 1 as I'm sure Baltimore would target him given banged up and they know him 1 Quote
