No clue, but it felt like Terry was there for some camera time. Maybe to give the perception of more involvement  than what is actually happening.

Yeah.  Here’s to hoping.

And yes, I understand he “can” do that because he’s the owner, but this is the textbook example of “just because you CAN, doesn’t mean you SHOULD”.

Best part when Ryan VDM chewing out Buffalo Joe over a late hit. That’s the kind of stuff I was hoping for. Otherwise, not much in-depth content. Just surface level filler

Agreed, and I was glad to see a practice get a little chippy. This team needs more of that, IMO.

Terry Pegula on the practice field with McDermott.

I never realized he was that involved

He is the owner....of course he's going to be involved.

However, there is a big difference between being involved and meddling...... Nothing Pegula  was saying or doing would be considered meddling, IMO.

Thought they’d bust out Keon Coleman by now but maybe he gets the airtime this next episode.

Keon highlights are slow to develop..

Really happy with the positive, sleepy tone of this reality programming. Nothing so far that's distracting, embarrassing, controversial, etc.

I assume that the reward for being on Hard Knocks is no international game? Like what the org could have demanded in return? So far, I'll take it.

As a Bills fan I’m glad that Hard Knocks is showing that the Bills are basically drama-free.

As a TV watcher it’s a little dull, but still enjoyable. I’d like a little bit more of the behind the curtain stuff though.

My grandparents era, cancer was extremely rare , it's just crazy to me

What was your grandparents era?

In 1975, which would be "grandparents era" for many on this site, the death rate from cancer was 200 per 100,000 people; it has slowly declined since the '90s to 140 per 100,000 people.   This is partly due to earlier detection (see next point) and partly due to improved treatment and survival rates from a number of cancers.

We can see that the rate of new diagnosis, on the other hand, increased from 400 per 100,000 people to 500 per 100,000 people in 1992 and has pretty much held steady.  This would likely be due to increased availability of and recommendation to conduct screening tests, rather than an increase in the amount of cancer cases.

Lost all credibility by not showing the Spector cut after another injury
