Bishop and Rapp have been the only safeties getting regular 1st team reps. White has been getting the first reps each day but Hairston is getting worked in everyday. One beat reporter described it as a 55/45 split. So it's not the same situation at all.

Allen is so self-contained in regards to correcting teammates that simply tapping Moore on the hat and then using his hands to show him the right read could be considered an outburst.

Based on the offseason DT additions, I have to think that's the plan.  They want whoever's playing 1T on any given play to be able to pass rush from that spot, especially on passing downs.  Daquon Jones is our only pure 1T that's likely to make the roster.  Carter was primarily a 3T last year and is switching to primarily 1T.  Ogunjobi and Sanders are both 3T first who can play some 1T.  And Walker played more at 3T than 1T in college, although it's possible the Bills think they can teach him to be a full-time 1T.

I was in my car listening to One Bills Live and Maddy (not trying to start another thread bashing her, btw) and Chris Brown were talking about how Keon had another bad day dropping passes. They were reassuring the fanbase that it was early in camp and he had plenty of time to fix the issue.

 

Then I read through this thread and it would appear that he had a number of nice catches and just one bad drop. Which take is more accurate?

Actually on OBL, Chris started by saying Keon had a mixed day.  Making a nice play for 60 yds, but then having 3 drops.

We could have given him a theoretical break with a broken hand week 1. He played every game man.

Players, including Josh Allen, can suffer injuries that keep them out for 1-5 weeks.  If Josh suffers one of those injuries, our season is not over.

I experienced the same thing after yesterday’s practice with conflicting accounts of going ons from different Bills media contributors.

 

 I’m just hoping for good health and some flashes from rookies.

'K fair.  But I also remember everyone trying to "read the tea leaves" during the battle for starting MLB then getting pantsed when the starter was named.

I still remember the old Peyton Manning line.  Someone asked a coach there why their #2 never got reps during the week.   And the answer was "Without Peyton we're *****, and we don't practice *****". 

 

Same here. If Josh goes down for any length that goes past like 6-7 weeks, then just go for that top 5 pick. 

 

So long as the Bills keep shopping from the refuse pile, they're telling me that any lengthy for Josh = tank
