Ravens, eagles and Bills have the best 3 rosters in football. Eagles are the only one of the above that doesn’t choose come playoff team.

 

fortunately, ravens are really subpar in playoffs compared to buffalo.

He's played 2 more games than Joey Bosa the last 3 years, so if he's not a big deal, Bosa is even worse.

 

He may not stay healthy, but he's going to help them when he is.

Best hope is Pittsburgh and Cinci make that division competitive and take a few games from them.  Of course winning week 1 head to head helps.

“have all been injured”.  Josh Allen has been injured too. Literally every athlete ever has been injured.  None of those guys you’ve mentioned have comparable injury history to Alexander.  Not even close.

Agree. Sometimes the homerism is fatiguing. It’s a good signing at that price. Had the bills done this, they would have been lauded by most on these pages.

The Bills already made this exact move but at half the price. Bringing an old, injured Tre White back for 1/$3M.

 

Both White and Alexander will play the same roles on their teams.

haha.  Just playing devils advocate.  I love Josh.  It's no secret that he struggled against the Raven's defense last season, as did a lot of teams that played them.  Hopefully they come up with a much better game plan for week one.

He's always feasted on bad defenses statistically speaking (he's not alone here, almost every player does).  Last season alone in 4 games against - CINx2, Tampa, and NYG: 89/122 for 1209 yards 18 TDs and no interceptions.  Another stat - they were 3-5 in the regular season when he throws the ball more than 30x - 3 wins against cleveland, cincy, and cincy - 5 losses to KC, Cleveland, Philly, Vegas, and Pittsburgh.  

 

You won't see many of those types of teams in the playoffs.  I thought he mostly played pretty well last year to kinda kill the narrative that he can't perform in the playoffs.

I love that Baltimore always wins the draft and the off-season in some people’s minds.  Everybody wetting their drawers over what the Ravens do. Well, last I checked, they haven’t beaten the Chiefs during the Mahomes either. But Josh has beaten MVP Lamar twice in the playoffs during that period. So all this admiration for Alexander, a guy whose team just 86’ed him is misplaced. We have our reclamation projects (Bosa-White-Forrest), and they just signed theirs. The fact that they signed him guarantees nothing. Just like King Henry killing everybody during garbage time during the season,  then standing on the sidelines while the Ravens try to come back and win in the playoffs against the Bills. (But fail)
