I don't see Rodgers and Tomlin working out. They're in a tough spot this season and so they've turned to him. But Rodgers is a control freak with a Coach that has total control and won't take sh-t from anyone. This looks like something that has a 1 year life expectancy rate and i'd be really surprised if the two don't butt heads by the end of the season.

Is there any chance Rodgers learned something from having survived the ***** show of a team that would give him all the power and now he's fine with just showing up, shutting up, playing and getting paid? 

Even if he didnt, maybe he's more likely to fall in line for an established coach like Tomlin over a coach like Saleh?

 

I still think Rodgers is cooked, but I'm not convinced it will be a coaching issue that does him in. I guess we'll see.

 

One thing I know for sure, it was way more fun watching him fail on a division rival.

Great news for the rest of the AFC Central--a waayyy over the hill narcissistic head case will now bring  all of his HUGE baggage, distractions, and greatly diminished skills to the Steelers.

 

Still can't believe they did not make a major push for a real quarterback this off season. And then they got rid of one of the best wide receivers in the league!

 

Just like I said when he signed with the Jets, one less team the Bills can consider a threat of any kind.

 

Maybe Tomlin's first losing season. And maybe his last with the Steelers.

 

The Bills may get 10 sacks when they play them in November--in the unlikely event that rodgers is still playing at that point.

The Steelers are even a less talented team than the Jets were on offense.  Poor OL, one decent receiver, no RB, mediocre TE, and oh by the way, a seriously over the hill QB who cannot even spell team.  This will not end well, not that I care.

Rodgers has a history of disrespecting his HC that goes back quite a few years. I remember him once screaming towards Mike McCarthy on the sideline during a game, "F###ING STUPID!!!"  He publicly disrespected Saleh on game days as well, and caused a culture rift in Jersey. It will be interesting to see how the relationship between Rodgers and Tomlin develops. In the past, Rodgers has expressed admiration for Tomlin. But now that they're on the same team, I can't wait to see how Tomlin, who seems to have exactly zero tolerance for Bullsh!t, handles Rodgers' gameday demeanor. I may just start following the Steelers.
