there's ways around this for 0$

Half the time I can’t even figure out what channel the game is on, so I pursue other ways out of frustration.

I get the point and yes it has gotten ridiculous, but slightly misleading. You don’t need YTTV sub to get Sunday Ticket. They offer it standalone.

I am pretty sure that is not true.

(ps I have since learned I am wrong)

I will never understand people advocating illegal streams.

For some reason, it being media makes it pallatable for people to say things like like this. But most of us would never say “oh that restaurant meal was expensive - but there are ways to skip out the door before paying without the waitress knowing”.

Why not just straight up say “i’m a thief”?

A restaurant has competition and must cater to its customers to make money.

The NFL has no competition and takes advantage of that fact by maximizing profits with less than zero regard for its customer's wants or needs.

I've recently lost any qualms I may have once had about honesty and fair play when it comes to the NFL.

If you want to consider me a thief for "stealing" from unethical robber barons, so be it.

Um yeah it is. That’s the route I do it.

So you just buy the Sunday ticket but don't have Youtube TV? I tried last year and was told that I had to have YTTV to get the ticket.  I will double check, that would be great.

My TV App gets all NFL games for $47 a month, all legal. (Plus all MLB, NBA, NHL, ESPN+, and over 600 local stations across the US. Even BBC from England and other English Stations).

I do the same thing. My credit card gets charged once a month for four payments during the NFL season.

I go to the sports bar to watch games. I rarely spend more the $70 / week. I used to think I was spending a lot of money for the luxury to watch football. Now I realize I'm a financial genius.

You certainly do not need YTTV to get ST.  However, I think it's about $100 more without YTTV.

The tweet is kind of histrionic. AFAIK, Amazon Prime TNF is free on Twitch TV. Plus, most have Prime anyway. You can also watch all games for a much lower price on NFL+, or just go to a sports bar.

The Thursday night games are on Prime.  If you have a smart tv, get the Twitch app, and you can watch the games for free.  Twitch and Prime are part of Amazon.  I’ve done this the past 2 years.

Well I got the NFL Game Pass for about $150 and have all the games, including games that are on Netflix, Amazon or whatever... I can also watch them in 40 minutes, coaches film, Redzone and some other benefits. Playoffs and SB included aswell.

You have to be really dumb to pay for all of them separately.

I'm a thief. My morals aren't your morals.

These memes are always so heavily inflated. For one you don't need YT TV at all. You can get Sunday Ticket by its self early bird for $399 and the rest of what you need YT TV for can be obtained for free via a broadcast TV receiver that will let you watch all the local FOX/ABC/NBC/CBS affiliates. Secondly you also don't need a year of Amazon or ESPN+. 6 months is all you need.

The real cost to watch all the games is around $600 for a season which is still vastly too much but also nowhere near 1500 dollars.

My wife teases me because she says I’m a rule follower, which is generally true. I’m not one who goes looking for free streams, but I have no problem with anyone who goes that rout. The NFL deserves it for their greed. I’m sure the NFL doesn’t like that, but they like the alternative even less - I can stop caring.

I’m much more of a Bills fan than an NFL fan these days.
