Nope.  The way I follow the team and consume content these days is far different than the early 2000s.

The funny thing is going on the Official team website and using those message boards was new and exciting compared to how we consumed content back in the 90s.  Evolution is wild man

I def remember the IMDB website and message boards in the early 2000s.....  I used to spend a lot of time on that site and reading them message boards about certain movies, tv shows, actors, singers, etc.....   Those message boards don't exist anymore and yah I hardly ever visit that site anymore.

When best friend and I from high school finished college YouTube was just starting out.  And we were both like thank god this wasn't around in our college years.  We would have for sure flunked out for how much time we would have been distracted!

On the useless ladder it's about one rung lower than One Bills Live.

Given the ages of one Terrance Pegula and Ralph C Wilson, I'm astounded that neither could figure it out.

The MB was shut down before Pegula purchased the team IIRC.  I think it was just part of the evolution of message boards.

A very sort of off season thread I realize.

The other thread about fandom pre Josh Allen made me think of too how following the Bills or really a lot of things changed over the years.  In the 90s and I think even the 2000s the teams official site seemed to be where it was at.

After the old BBMB got cut off very abruptly I really don’t look at Buffalobills.com much at all.   I thinks its still a source for tickets but I’m not sure how much use it still gets.

Im shocked they still keep that site up and running.

No, and  same for NFL.com in general, which is very weak in format/ease of finding things, and also in content, for such a huge and overall savvy company.

Part of the problem is that they feel they cannot be objective in their coverage, as they are basically covering themselves, while  CBS Sports and ESPN can do that much better and do so.

Ditto for most of the NFL Channel TV shows, such as GMF, which is soo boring, so lacking in content they need to repeat significant portions of their show each day.

Usually when it comes to Bills gear I like to buy through New Era exclusively but occasionally I’ll go to BB.com and take a gander through their store for tshirts and hoodies etc..

Their YouTube channel is fantastic as well. I like Chris Brown and Steve Tasker. I think they do a good job imo.

Its also a good point of reference for roster/depth chart, schedule, coaching staff, injury list etc..

Btw, TBD.com >>>>>> BB.com.. You can actually say what you want here.. I don’t miss their message board one bit.

BBMB was the best message board by a mile. Had a ton of friends over there.

When they abruptly ended that board, I barely ever go there.

This one's better.  People would start too many threads on the same topic and moderators wouldn't bother to ever consolidate them.  It was odd when they just shut it down without warning.  I was ready to continue my passionate argument about why the Bills should put the franchise tag on Gilmore and I never got to finish it.

I remember loving the BBMB back in the day, but I was younger and had only come here after the plug was pulled over there. Then I realized I was basically suffering from Stockholm Syndrome and that this board, while different, was amazing after adjusting for a month or two. I do miss some of the regulars over there, but overall I have come to love this community even more.

I visit the site to occasionally grab a URL to post here for roster/team news. That’s about it. Otherwise it’s here and YouTube and sometimes the app lol.

NFL.com and all the team sites webpages are so slow when navigating. That itself is a huge turn off.

Same.   Between all the ads and other crap that constantly want to load and refresh, all the official NFL sites are horrendous.  I don’t even go there for basic info like scores and game times… any site is better than NFL.com or BB.com
