I disagree with that. There is a lot of history in that stadium and true football fans respect that.  I have several friends this season  who are planning on making the pilgrimage to "Rich Stadium" because they have never been, and want the chance to see a game there before it is gone.  They are fans of other teams (namely Bears, Lions and Steelers) and going to a game in Buffalo to appreciate the history of that building.

Moving into (and paying for ) a new stadium in 2026, the desire to bring the draft and the SB to Buffalo...yeah, Hard Knocks is like a pre-req from a business standpoint.  And now that we've been denied the "genius" the was Mr. Smithers, er Russ Brandon, I gotta believe TPegs loves/pushed for this.  It'll drive up revenue, and team valuation with essentially free PR.  Probably helps sell tickets while increasing new minority owner share revenue...in short it's perfect.  

 

OTOH, for an uber-control freak like McD I doubt he's elated at the news.  And before people conflate that point by noting all NFL HC's are control freaks, well, McD takes it to another level on par with not needing a lab to make diamonds.  He can manufacture them himself he's so tight.

Ive yet to see a hard knocks that showed all this stuff teams didn't want you to see.  If they did that teams would revolt.  So, I don't think its going to be much different at all.

It's irrelevant though, as playoffs teams from the previous year weren't eligible, or something like that.  So, the pool of teams that these stats come from were generally bottom feeders to mediocre teams.

How'd that Schoen quote about Barkley age?  "You're paying the guy $40 million. It's not to hand the ball off to a $12 million back,"  Guessing the Giants weren't thrilled that was included??

That was off-season Hard Knocks.  The only interesting one since the Browns one where Hue Jackson brought Baker Mayfield in to congratulate him (the #1 pick) for winning the backup job.  I think we'll be portrayed fine.
