I am sure Beane & McDermott aren't thrilled; and as far as the Bills exposing any 'secrets' or proprietary info - neither am I. I am sure some players who can't make the Bills Roster will be identified by the series and will be lost to other teams.  But I am excited to see the inner workings of the Bills TC and the run-up to the coming season. Given past rules for Hard Knocks participation, this may be the best team they have ever spot-lighted on the series.

Interesting point. Over the recent past, for sure. But I believe Hard Knocks started with the SB Ravens team. That would have to be up there.

 

edit: Just checked the list

 

HK started with the 2001 Ravens, fresh off their 2000 SB season.

They had the 2010 Jets who made a deep playoff run.

And the 2020 Rams who went on to win the Super Bowl

Not surprised! Pretty excited to be honest. We do have the reigning MVP so it makes sense for the Bills to finally be recognized.

They haven't missed any opportunity and choosing them this camp was very calculated.  The drama of having to possibly cut a "heart stopped" survivor will make for ratings gold.

As much as I wanna be ANGRY about this, deep down I am very giddy & excited. This will definitely help out this lame offseason go by tremendously. And there are many legitimately interesting story lines.

Damar is fantastic depth. I really wish that stuff didn’t happen to him as it takes away from him as a player. He’s not a charity case like some people think.

I think it would make for cool TV showing them pre season getting ready for the season, and interjecting updates of the stadium. Would be neat.
 

Plenty off Bills fans outside Buffalo. Feel this might be the most watched Hard Knocks.

I'm excited for it personally.

“Bills embedded” is always a great watch is filmed similarly as Hard Knocks so I’m honestly not worried. This team is used to extensive media coverage and there are strong enough leaders in this organization to not let it become a distraction.

For some reason I feel like the "hard knocks" teams get jinxed each season.

In my mind it is becoming like the Maddon or Sports Illustrated jinx.
