  1. I'm long over this. Saw the game on NFL Network last night. Josh AND Mahomes were both magical! Anyone who bashes Josh because he didn't beat Mahomes would be like bashing Marino because he couldn't beat Kelly - they're both in the HOF!! (and Marino was better). But to point #4 above - I would have been celebrating too - my defense isn't going to allow 40 yds on 1-2 plays to allow the Chiefs to tie! I would have mugged (held/tackled) Kelce & Hill on both plays (Def Holding - 10 total yds in penalties). It would have allowed the Chiefs a Hail Mary attempt at worst or a last ditch untimed down at best.
  2. A go-nowhere team trying to make a splash. Remind you of anyone? Bills signing Mario Williams!
  3. Why market the team overseas when they can charge insane PSLs and get their $$ that way?
  4. Is he doing less in the off-season now or is what he is doing in the off-season not as publicized as it has been in the past?
  5. In the article, Damar tells his little brother there are no beaches in Buffalo. Sounds like he hasn't been here long. Now, if he said there were no NICE beaches - I'd get it!
  6. Per PFF: Samuel was an efficient target in Eric Bienemy’s Washington offense that spread the ball around more than any team in the NFL, hauling in just shy of 73% of passes thrown his way with just four drops on 85 targets in 2023. Samuel was used as a ball carrier in 2023 like he was in 2022 and previous seasons dating back to his Ohio State days. His Swiss Army knife skill set shows up with good change of direction in space and start-stop ability that is still above average at this stage of his career.
  7. Not true. Dickerson had nothing good to say about the Bills because Marv called him on his BS and fired him 3 days after the Super Bowl. THEN he became an entertaining radio personality who continued to hold a grudge over his firing. From a WAPO article dtd 1/29/92 from The AP: A sampling of Dickerson's comments: On tackle Jim Lachey: "Wears his jersey real well. Tapes down his sleeves to makes his guns look big. Real big. . . . A ballerina in a 310-pound body." On tackle Joe Jacoby: "My type of guy. Neanderthal." And on Bostic: "Ugly, like the rest of 'em. Dickerson, 54, said the remarks about the Redskins offensive line were meant as a joke. They weren't taken that way by the Redskins, who said Dickerson's words helped motivate them to beat the Bills, 37-24. After the game, Washington center Jeff Bostic said: "He gave us a great motivating speech. He was talking about the Hogs. He made a lot of really embarrassing remarks, coming from a coach. He made comments about each one of us individually. I wonder if he likes us now."
  8. The only JV on the field with Mahomes has been our Defense. Allen is one of the best in the game - ever. The discussions over who's better is a fool's errand. Who's better, Kelly or Marino? See my point? Most would say Marino, but he couldn't beat Kelly's Bills! So maybe Allen is better than Mahomes, but he just can't beat Mahomes' Chiefs - yet. The point is it doesn't matter. They'll all be back in 2024 for another go at it. Hopefully Bean & McDermott will surround Allen with a better group to help win that elusive Super Bowl!!
  9. The REAL MVP. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFYzWz9xgqk Thanks to Casey Honigbaum
  10. . . . . and then one of their linebackers goes down with an injury. Trainers and doctors rush on to the field. They're looking at his legs and asking him what's wrong. He points to his finger! Obvious stall to help his gassed teammates.
  11. This was the only Super Bowl I attended. A few thoughts and a little advice: Though we got killed, it was an incredible experience! I would go again in a heartbeat - it was that much fun!! NY Times Story Nine turnovers was insane, do you know how many points Dallas scored off those turnovers? 35. The margin of victory. If we protected the ball better, it may have been a different story. Dallas was not that much better, but as their lead grew, they were able to dictate the game. When in a "no tomorrow" situation, the Bills pressed and took BIG chances that ended up being turnovers. Michael Jackson was the halftime show - very cool! Super Bowl Saturday Night included a free concert at which Garth Brooks sang a couple of songs. (I couldn't find any reference to it on-line, but I swear it was a thing at that SB!) I didn't remember that Brooks did sing the National Anthem at the game and there was some pre-game controversy around it. My advice: If you get the chance (and can afford it) - GO! Despite losing big, it was still an awesome experience!!!
  12. This is Lewis' way of insinuating himself back into a starting QB job in the NFL!!
  13. Agree! To take it a step further and to help clarify the silliness of the notion, let's put it in different terms to help some understand . . . This is pretty dumb. Imagine telling your wife/GF, hey, I'm going to see if something better is out there. Sit tight. Honey, why would you be so upset? I don't understand . . .
  14. Thanks to that clip, I now wonder why they didn't convert!! The hole was there and Hamlin looked drunk - stumbling around like he never ran with the football.
  15. Completely disagree with OP opinion. Last year . . . spot on; they were mentally exhausted. The Hamlin 'injury' scared the hell out of everyone and couldn't help but be a distraction; and Cincy took advantage of it. This year, after the mid-season swoon & bye, they came back focused and have gone 4-0. Soon to be 5-0; then it's a whole new season. Although fans have been on an emotional roller coaster vs. expectations, the Bills have been calm, cool & collected in the face of adversity (injuries, firings, up & down play) and stand poised to win the Division & get the #2 seed. If that was offered in September - we'd have all signed on! Go Bills!!
  16. Watching the Fish getting smoked 2 weeks in a row!! Merry Christmas to All and to All a Good Night!!
  17. Ah yes, of course. Looks like we're playing either Sunday or Monday this week. Par for the course!
  18. Bills have 6 losses and the fish have 4. There is a very good chance the fish lose to the Cowboys and @Ravens before we meet in week 17. In fact, it is more likely than not the fish lose to both as they STILL haven't beaten a team w/a winning record. The Jets awoke last Sunday - the question is, will they keep rolling or go back to sleep? The Bills should win at least 3 of the remaining 4 and could win out with Dallas being the toughest test. Chargers have lost Herbert; we owe the Pats a whooping and we don't deserve anything if we don't beat the fish. We could actually be in 1st when week 17 rolls around and can clinch it with a win. If we win 2 and lose 1 going into week 17, we'd be 9-7. If the fish lose 2 and win 1, they'd be 10-6 before week 17 - meaning a Bills win = AFC Title. We just need to take care of our own games and we should be OK - playoffs-wise.
  19. I thought Jones was ON today - the best he's played vs. the Bills. Before today - I kinda wondered what people were talking about . . .
  20. That's because it gives the talking heads more ammo - ignore them. Josh is not the problem.
  21. Horrible post. Now we should fire the coach because he's not clairvoyant! He should have known Bass would miss, so punt from the 31. No one would have 2nd guessed him. OMG, he'd get pitch-forked!!
  22. 2 no calls in a row. Hit to head of a defenseless receiver and DPI
