I am surprised since the home schedule is pretty tough. Good news is the road schedule isn't. If the Bills can go undefeated at home for a 2nd year in a row they will have earned it. Some really tough games at Highmark.

AFC east (6 games) and NFC South (4 games) are probably the two weakest divisions last year.  If we played AFC South the only concerning games would be the other division winners.

If we go undefeated at home, we just might go undefeated….period.

There will be some nail biting Thriller's at home. If the season goes as planned it will be a pretty epic way to send off the Old Stadium and Usher in the new

We are pretty low on the scale - even though we play 5 division winners

Testament to our divisional foes being a hot mess most seasons

I do think this is a better schedule than the last two. All our toughest games are at home and while we might lose 1 or 2 of them no way the Josh Allen / Sean McDermott Buffalo Bills are dropping 4 home games.

Honestly.... 14-3 and the #1 seed is in play IMO.

If KC goes 6-3 or better in their first 9 games, they will lock #1 seed again.   The second half of their season is way easier than the first half.

If you look closely you’ll see that the Divisions are all grouped together. Playing those six games against each other influences the strength of schedule more than where you finish.

Strength of schedule matters big time, but strength of last year's schedule is far less indicative of actual strength of schedule than what we'll know about how hard the schedules were by the time we reach the end of next year's slate.

No such thing as strength of schedule.

plenty of the teams from last year that were good won’t be good this season and teams that were bad will be better.

Everyone always tries to predict stuff based on the previous season and it never even comes close to what they think.

So all of the strength of schedule stuff is meaningless and pointless.

No one thought San Francisco was going to have all of those injuries last year and miss the playoffs. No one thought the Vikings were going 15-2 with Sam Darnold before the year started.

Lots of people thought the Bills were going to have a tough year and Miami or the Jets would be good.

So no one knows how tough or easy the schedule will be until games are being played.

I do think the law of averages starts catching up to KC, especially losing the Super Bowl, also having been there 3 years in a row, winning ALL of those close games last year, Kelce being another year older, they will have a down year next year compared to what they usually do. I would take the Under on their win total as easy money. Plus Chargers and Broncos “should” be tougher against them.  Doubt Mahomes misses the playoffs but if they did it wouldn’t be a shocker to me at all.

Kinda like 49ers this last year after having a Super Bowl hangover. Chiefs were trying to go for 3 in a row last year and put a lot into it. I could see them having a major Super Bowl loss hangover going into this season.

completely meaningless at this point

Just like last season when everyone was saying the schedule was a “murderer’s row.”  I actually think this year’s schedule could challenging, as some teams that sucked last season could turn it around this year.  The good news is, I also feel that Buffalo is better than last season

A better way to determine strength of schedule is following the money (Vegas over/unders) for this year.  In that case we have the 5th easiest schedule in the league.  Unless you're a degenerate gambler who makes their own power rankings but I digress.

That's wishful thinking.  As nauseating as it for me to say, it's pry more likely they'll be even better after being embarrassed in the Super Bowl.  I thought they showed a lot of character being down 40-6 and still playing as hard as they did to make it 40-22.  Too good of a head coach.  Too good of a starting QB.  Just a solid organizational culture  It's us, them, and the Ravens.  I'd be shocked if any other AFC team makes the Super Bowl.
