TFBillsfan Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Damn….losing Hairston really hurts as that is now two first round picks (Elam) that haven’t been able to make an immediate impact. Theoretically, Hairston won’t be fully ready until mid season of next year with no guarantee that his speed will stay the same. Realistically, we’re looking at 2027 for Hairston to be fully recovered. Praying for a speedy recovery and hopeful Strong catches lightning in a bottle. Ugh!!!!!!! 1 Quote

Kincaid and Coleman have not exactly instilled confidence. Hopefully they step up this year. 1 Quote
SCBills Posted July 30 Posted July 30 (edited) If the ACL tear rumor is true, man… Small DB, primarily drafted for speed and quickness. Might not be until Year 3 until we see what he can do, and that’s hoping he’s able to recover fully. Maybe not a huge hit for this year, but about as rough as it could be for the rookie contract maximization of a 1st Round Rookie CB predicated on speed/agility. Beane can’t predict the future, but he really needs a big year from Coleman and Kincaid right now. Edited July 30 by SCBills 2 1 Quote

billsfan89 Posted July 30 Posted July 30 I've been hearing that source is not the best most reliable source. Likely will get more reliable information soon. Hopefully they are mistaken. Quote
thronethinker Posted July 30 Posted July 30 (edited) Confirmed, confirmed, but confirmed by who? Everyone is quoting the confirmed Tweet that has not been confirmed. Not saying its false but nothing is confirmed yet. Edited July 30 by thronethinker Quote

Beane can’t predict the future, but he really needs a big year from Coleman and Kincaid right now. He will have a full 12 months to heal to get back to pre season (assuming ACL tear). That will give him more than enough time to be ready late next year. Most people that have that happen during the season, usually have that 12 month period when they come back to be in that next season. Wouldnt be the case here. Quote

Lost Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Why can't this team manage to have just one year where a star playing doesn't have a season ending injury before the season even starts?! 🤬 1 Quote
