sven233 Posted April 25 Posted April 25 This is the start of a potentially bad stretch for our board. Lots of teams with the same needs we have. Gonna have to dodge a lot of bullets over the next several picks. And, if there is a guy that Beane really wants, he may have to make a move in the next 5-7 picks. 2 Quote

I think we can get a very solid player on defense We will need the help with no pass rush up the middle. Another year of DE's missing a QB and the guy stepping up in the pocket or taking off. Quote
daz28 Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Not a single DB has been taken yet, right? And only 1 WR. We can hang tight and prob still get a good one at either. DT doesn't seem to be in our cards, unless Harmon falls. Quote

One of the three might be able to fall within reach of us and if you can get one of them, even if you have to move up a few - do it. Any would be a big win. Especially the first two. 1 Quote
Richard Noggin Posted April 25 Posted April 25 some fans on here feeling defeated at pick 16 lol Come on, gang. Can't get hung up on specific players/needs when you're picking at the bottom of the round. Some of the perennially best orgs seem to still do well in the draft by letting it come to them. 3 2 1 2 Quote

Big Blitz Posted April 25 Posted April 25 6 d linemen in the first 16 picks. 1 WR plus Hunter 1 QB And Dallas lol a Guard Quote

I would hate it. Teams that want their DT's are getting them now. There'll be a gap till the next tier of Sanders/Collins/Alexander/Farmer et al. That's fine. There'll be a surfeit of CB at the bottom of R1 unless there's a massive shift in trend here. 1 Quote

GunnerBill Posted April 25 Posted April 25 For all the talk about unpredictability, and sure the order isn't quite as expected, but through 16 picks the guys that have gone are the guys at the top of boards. I had 15 firsts and 4 borderline firsts. 12 of those guys are gone. So for the first time this draft my best remaining: 1. Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas 2. Malaki Starks, S, Georgia 3. James Pearce Jnr, DE, Tennessee 4. Mike Green, DE, Marshall 5. Will Johnson, CB, Michigan 6. Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama 7. Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina 8. Matthew Golden, WR, Texas 9. Nic Scourton, DE, Texas A&M 10. Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon 4 3 Quote
Richard Noggin Posted April 25 Posted April 25 TJ Sanders and Darius Alexander will be there in rd 2 maybe? Or Alfred Collins. CJ West in rd 3? There are dudes out there. 1 1 Quote
