Rd 4, Pick 128: RB Ray Davis, Kentucky

Recommended Posts

As I said in the discussion thread Ray Davis was my favorite RB in this draft. He is a complete 3 down back who can block in pass pro and has great hands out of the backfield with a strong compact body to run between the tackles. Yes he's older but that doesn't matter with RB's as most of them only get 1 contract anyways.

Reminds me of Travis Henry, I think.

I see it.  Not flashy but a good player.  He will be a solid back. Pairs well with Cook.  Better bigger body backs in the class.

He may be the best RB in the draft.  Beane is 100% need-shopping in this draft - it is what it is, he has zero job pressure.  Good players but I question the value.

Hopefully he'll take some of the tougher shorter yards out of Allen's hands.

Best pick (by round) of the draft so far.  Not sure how much it'll move the needle as it were, but it fits McD's pet "complimentary football" approach.  Not sure how Cook feels about it though.

It wouldn’t be a LOSER Bills Draft Day, until they wasted a pick on a dime a dozen ***** RB!

Can we get some GD speed at the receiver position please?

Curtis Samuel runs in the mid 4.3s and Shakir runs a 4.42. Can you please know what you actually are talking about about before posting nonsense?

Cook should like it.  We need a short yard guy.

Agree best pick by round.  Only guy that makes sense where taken so far
