FireChans
I think that Josh Allen stopped doing as much in the off-season after 2021. He believed, after that moment, that the difference between him and Mahomes was a coinflip. I don’t think it’s affecting his game but he was not on the same page with WRs last year so it makes me wonder. Most talented QB in the history of the game maybe, but he still has another level to go. I don’t think he has what Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes have mentally, especially in the offseason. 3

Allen is a great qb and #2 currently. What he does in the offseason is his business. But that drive to be the best that existed in Brady and is what’s driving Mahomes right now is clearly not in Allen. That’s ok because not everyone has that and it’s not a requirement to win a championship. 1 1

Success
Anyone seen a dropoff in how well he's playing? Allen brings it every week during the season. He doesn't need to elevate his play, though he'll likely continue to improve. The team around him needs to strive for his level of excellence. 2

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bills told him to relax in the offseason. As soon as Bills workouts start he’ll be here. But I don’t think he’s working with Jordan Palmer as much as he did. BillsFanForever19
Ever since the KC loss - I've seen threads tearing down everyone from Sean McDermott, Brandon Beane, Ed Oliver, Stefon Diggs, Tyler Bass, Von Miller, James Cook, Greg Rousseau, and others. I remember saying on either the Oliver or Cook thread something among the lines of, "I know the season ending as it did was hard - but are we really going to tear down everyone on the team not named Josh Allen?" Here it is and here we are - we now have a thread ragging on Josh Allen. Edited March 21 by BillsFanForever19 2 2

I actually think coaching is the most important aspect of winning a championship. Reid is the best, and the "Mahomes is way better because he has 3 titles" argument basically ends there for me. But it's not a savvy argument, regardless. In a team game like football, "x QB is better than y QB because of titles' is a poor take. Bradshaw had 4. Dilfer wasn't better than Marino. Many more examples. 1

Very happy he is our QB no matter how hard the road is to the trophy. Too much wine perhaps. 1
