Josh Allen and starters will play against the Bears

  • HappyDays changed the title to Josh Allen and starters will play against the Bears

The only thing I'll say is that if they're going to put Allen out there they have to let him play. If he wants to run let him run. If he gets hit, so be it. What we saw against the Steelers is useless for him to practice. If they're worried about him taking hits then call exclusively quick passes and runs.

It feels like had they done well last week that would have been a wrap on the majority of the starters PS. However with the presnap penalties it's good to get them back out there and tune up a bit. Just hope we stay healthy.

Hope they stay healthy AND hope they don’t play like they did last week.

Because they could use the work, or it's that 'good' underachievers deserve after an unimpressive outing? 🤔😉😁

Both.

They haven't earned the right to sit out a game. They could use the work.

Go out, play clean, disciplined football, drive the ball down and score a time or two (and show some pride and gap integrity and tackling acumen on defense), THEN you can sit and make jokes on the sideline.

Please let the first play be Josh throwing a pick six to Edmunds.

I just want to watch this board implode

Edmunds’ next pick six would be his first, right?

I would expect it’s much more likely for him to be JUST close enough for a PBU, miss the ball, then grab the player and hope the safeties come in to finish the play after a gain of 12.

The Edmunds special.

Good, not a McD fan but he needs to do something to send a message to this soft team knowing the hornets nest they're walking into on MNF against the Jets so they aren't blown of the field by the end of the 1st quarter again.

Huh, you're not a McD fan? Never would have guessed...

Saving this post because if a starter gets hurt you will screech about how McD sucks and is an idiot for playing them. Lol

playing starters in a preseason game doesn't send a message. Many teams are playing starters this week.  If you want to send a message you bench a starter like Dawkins.

Would that message be "we'd like to see what Josh Allen looks like in a sling"?

Really hate this Mcgovern injury.

If it is minor why do they not say it is minor?  The jets are going to prepare the same way anyway and they have plenty of tape on him from his time in Dallas and the preseason here.  So being secretive seems pointless.

This team is going to go with the lines and this is not a good start.
