I think Beane's plan will be to sign a couple of mid-tier FAs, and draft a C/G in the 2nd or 3rd round (and maybe even another in the 6th/7th). Here are the guys to watch from our meeting list... Assuming Linderbaum is gone before then, it isnt worth reaching for a guy we could get in the 2nd. Maaaaybe Kenyon Green. I wouldnt mind trading up to around #20 to get Linderbaum. As I dig deeper on the guys we met with, I could see Beane going with Cam Jurgens in like the 4th or 5th as a possible Center replacement for Morse. Wouldn't have given him the big deal Tennessee did and wouldn't be made keen on him now unless he comes cheap. If he is still sitting out there and they want to bring him in as a dust settles guy in a couple of weeks, fine. (He played for Kromer in LA for 2 years and those were his best years going into free agency) As a replacement for Daryl Williams as a backup guard? Sure.
