ScorpionZero
PFN dart board draft, more trades to get what I want. I think that when you decide what players you want for your team, stick to your guns and don't worry about some big board and if your picking a guy to early so what, let the hens cackle and get your guys. There's at least 6 guys who could command significant playing time. 33. Christian Watson WR North Dakota State 51. Roger McCreary CB Auburn 57. Jahan Dotson WR Penn State 70. I'm not thrilled with the injuries, and his play in zone. Better off with Elam, I personally like Coby in second or third. This way they can grab Hall in the first if they want and still get a good corner with allot of experience and ball skills. Yantha
FINAL MOCK: Locked in. . No trades in this version. Disappointed in how WR fell in this draft, but I took the BPA approach. Top 3 rounds addressed the CB hole, potential Safety hole (if Poyer decides that he needs an extension before he plays), and gives competition to Tremaine Edmunds to either step up or step aside. Wasn't planning on an OT but Deisch was a great value in the 4th round. Added depth to interior OL, RB, DL, and also took a flier on Leo Chenal's teammate LB Sanborn. HOPEFUL UDFAs: CB Derion Kendrick - Georgia TE Jake Ferguson - Wisconsin S Brad Hawkins - Michigan TE/RB/KR Connor Heyward - Mich State WR Dontario Drummond - Ole Miss WR Jalen Nailor - Mich State CB Vincent Gray - Michigan OG Ben Brown - Ole Miss TE Cole Turner - Nevada Edited April 27, 2022 by Yantha
RocCityRoller
Needs DB (CB and S)/ IOL/ RB/ WR/ LB No trades, let the draft fall and see who became available 25 - OT- Trevor Penning - Northern Iowa (RAS 9.96) - surprised to see him there. BPA on OL. LT starter but can play RT, so he can be a swing OT this year and push Brown as starting RT. Size and demeanor comparison is Jon Runyan, play style Riley Reiff. If he plays like either of those guys a 5th yr option will be a big plus 57 - RB - Ken Walker III - Michigan St (RAS 9.25) - No brainer here, give JA a Heisman winner in the backfield 89 - TE - Trey McBride - Col State (RAS 8.18) - had 0 plans on drafting TE, much less one this high, but he is the #1 or #2 TE prospect on almost every board and is expected to be drafted in the 40-55 range. Anyone want to add a 2 way Mackey Award Winner to this offense? 130 - CB - Josh Jobe - Alabama (RAS N/A) - excellent Jr season, played with turf toe most of 2021. Better suited to zone or cover 2. 5'11 208, may be a S at NFL 168 - S - Tycen Anderson - Toledo (RAS 9.48) - 6'2" 209, 4.36 40, 4.28 shuttle. Has played as S and big Nickel, the type of clay McDermott and Frazier can mold into a stud NFL DB. 185 - OG - Logan Bruss - Wisconsin (RAS 8.75) - 6'5" 309 - Can play RG or RT, Buffalo loves versatility 203 - OG - Cade Mays - Tennessee (RAS 7.53) - 6'5" 311 - Has started at all T and G positions in college 231 - WR - Tre Turner - Virginia Tech (RAS 3.51) - 6'1 195 4.51 40. Had pretty bad QB play at VT. Averaged 17 YPC in college, bad QB play at VT. Can replace Isaiah Hodgins on the PS 🤣 DB and WR didn't get a great lift the way this draft fell, but it got a much needed youth injection at OL. Lot's of talent, athleticism and versatility for Kromer to work with. I could see 2-3 future OL starters from this mock. Adding Walker III and McBride is just adding to an embarrassment of riches on a loaded offense. Maybe McDermott and Frazier can turn Jobe or Anderson to starting calibre DBs, they have a knack for it. Turner brought into an NFL camp to try to shake a bad combine and show what he has. RocCityRoller
No trades, no early reaches, let draft fall to BUF. Took SIM best BPA rounds 1-3. No S or IOL! Draft fell strange in Mid Rounds. 25 - OT - Trevor Penning (Northern Iowa) - BPA (K Green/ Z Johnson and D Hill were next best BPA - any of these picks would be aok with me) 57 - RB - Breece Hall (Iowa State) - BPA - Don't want him in the 1st, love him at 57. Walker III was also available. 89 - TE - Trey McBride (Colorado St) - BPA - some 2nd tier CB and S were available, but McBride was rated 40 slots higher then the next best player 130 - CB - Jalyn Armour Davis (Alabama) - Best DB available, drop off after he and Alabama teammate Jobe was bad (20 or more slots) 168 - WR - Tyquan Thornton (Baylor) - speed size mix Buffalo does not have. Best outside WR prospect left. 185 - P - Matt Araiza - with OL/ DB and WR raided I looked to ST. Fan favorite, flip those fields 203 - WR - Kyle Phillips (UCLA) - slot WR with 4 yrs Punt return duty at UCLA 231 - FB/RB - Zander Horvath (Purdue 6'3" 230) - jack of all trades - Mike Alstott comparisons Trevor Penning - potential to be the best OT in the draft. Biggest concern is FCS competition. I am not 100% on Brown long term. BUF is light at LT after Dawk. Penning can play LT or RT. May need some time to adjust to NFL game speed/ strength. Having Brown hold down RT if needed is a luxury. If Penning is ready then having Brown be a backup RT is a luxury. Was a starting LT in college. John Runyan and Riley Reiff comparisons. Breece Hall - could choose between Hall or Walker III. I like Walker III a bit more, but hard to pass on Hall's 3 down ability (hands). McBride - if the consensus TE #1 or #2 TE is there at 89 it is hard to pass on him. Mackey award winner. Excellent hands, size and ability to block. I am not a fan of OJ Howard. Knox may get expensive next year. Immediate ability to play 11 personnel this year with Knox and McBride. Knox/McBride/Howard is nasty TE depth. Comparison - Austin Hooper. Jalyn Armour-Davis - 6'1" 197 4.39 40. Best DB (CB and S) available at this point. CB and S had a lot of runs in this sim. (Taylor-Britt/ Bryant/ McCollum were all gone). Fall off after JAD was bad. Lots of ability here for McDermott and Frazier to mold. NFL comparison - Dre Kirkpatrick. Picks after 160 were pretty sparse. Lots of RB and TE available. OL/ DB/ WR raided. Looked for traits and ST. Tyrquan Thornton offers a unique size and speed combo. Best option to find outside WR depth at this point of the draft, most guys were small slot guys. Has been used as a KR in college. Traits pick. Matt Araiza - best ST player available in draft. Good bye Haack. The Josh Allen of punters! Kyle Phillips - small slot WR. A plus is he returned punts all 4 years at UCLA Zander Horvath - I just love this kids videos. Total McDermott type guy. Can run/ catch/ sneaky game speed. Could contribute on ST right away, compete with Gilliam.

This would be a GREAT draft , I just don’t think ( of course I could be wrong) Breece Hall or Tre McBride would be available at those spots , also Kyle Phillips will probably be gone before we pick in round 5 , I love the Tyquan Thornton pick , What do you think of Josh Johnson WR out of Tulsa ?

Yeah it went way different than I wanted, but in retrospect what luck. I see Hall/ Walker III in the second a lot. McBride being there was a glitch or a gift. Would have gone for a CB/S/OG otherwise. Josh Johnson WR - not really on my radar. I've avoided most of the small slot guys because Buffalo has Crowder and McKenzie (and Stevenson). Not sure what he would add to the mix. I was leaning toward outside WRs. I picked Phillips on a bit of a whim looking at experienced returners because that mock fell really weird so I looked ST late.

LEBills
My Full 32 pick first round and full Bills draft with trades 1. Jags select Trayvon Walker EDGE UGA Baalke has won 2. Lions select Aiden Hutchinson EDGE UM BPA, local kid 3. Texans - ***TRADE*** - Falcons select Malik Willis QB Liberty Willis is from Atlanta, Arthur Blank is 79 and Arthur Smith is going into year 2 4. Jets select Ahmed Gardner - CB - Cinnci rumor he is at top of board, keep up with the offensive firepower in Buffalo and Miami. 5. Giants select Derek Stingley - CB - LSU Maybe best player in draft, huge position of need 6. Panthers select Kenny Pickett - QB - Pitt Darnold is not the answer, Rhule is on the hot seat. Pickett is ready to play Day 1. 7. Giants select Charles Cross - OT - MSU Regarded as the best pass blocking tackle in the draft, we know Daboll loves to pass 8. Falcons - ***TRADE*** - Texans select Jermaine Johnson - EDGE - FSU Texans need edge pressure, Johnson transferred a great 2021 into a very impressive senior bowl and combine 9. Seahawks select Ikem Ekwonu - OL-NCst Who knows what they will do, but I think this BPA will be too much for them to pass on 10. Jets select Jamison Williams -WR-Bama Jets get pick of the WRs and take the biggest home run hitter 11. Commies select Drake London -WR-USC Rumors they reallyyy like Drake London 12. Vikings - ***TRADE*** Eagles select Jordan Davis - DT - Georgia Eagles jump ahead of Baltimore for a NT to anchor their Tampa 2 defense 13. Texans select Evan Neal - OT - Alabama Texans were one of the worst at both run and pass blocking, they need to go OT at one of the top spots 14. Ravens ***TRADE*** Cowboys select Kayvon Thibodeaux - EDGE - Oregon They lost Randy Gregory and Jerruh sees this as a chance to get a top 3 talent in the draft. 15. Eagles select Kyler Gordon - CB - UW The more physically gifted of the two UW corners. The length fits better in their defense. 16. Saints select Desmond Ridder - QB - UC Rumor is that every team has a first round grade on Ridder. He can start day 1 if they want to move on from Jameis. 17. Chargers select Garret Wilson -WR-OSU They continue to give weapons to Herbert. 18. Eagles - ***TRADE*** Vikings select Kyle Hamilton - Safety - Notre Dame The slide ends, not Minnys biggest need but a good person to pair with Harrison Smith 19. Saints select Chris Olave - WR - OSU Saints need weapons for their rookie QB 20. Steelers select Skyy Moore - WR WMU Might be a reach but Moore grew up with Tomlin’s kids. They lost Juju and I think they really think Mitch can succeed in their organization 21. Patriots select Trevor Penning - OT- UNI BPA and their line is looking rough. Mac needs to be kept clean in the pocket to succeed. 22. Packers select Treylon Burks - WR - Arkansas They seem ready to invest in a WR based on their top 30 visits. We will see… 23. Cardinals select Kair Elam - CB - Florida Late riser, the Cardinals need secondary help 24. Cowboys - ***TRADE*** - Ravens select George Karlaftis - EDGE - Purdue Ravens let the board come to them, shocker. 25. Bills - ***TRADE***- Jaguars select Tyler Linderbaum - Center - Iowa Jaguars jump ahead a few spots to lock down their Jason Kelce. 26. Titans select Zion Johnson - Guard -BC Left guard is their biggest area of need, Johnson is the top Guard in the draft 27. Bucs select Tyler Smith - OL - Tulsa After Ali Marpet retired, Bucs could use an upgrade to their interior line 28. Packers select Logan Hall - DL - Houston Their DLine is about to get very expensive, GB is planning for the future 29. Chiefs select Boye Mafe - EDGE -UMinn Apparently Chiefs have been high on him for a long time, they need better DLine play 30. Chiefs select Christian Watson - WR - ND St After Hill’s departure, they fill with a high end talent player who can start off returning kicks and doing reverses 31. Bengals select Trent McDuffie - CB -UW Bengals look to upgrade from Eli Apple 32. Lions select Lewis Cine - Safety -UGA Lions need a safety, rumblings he will be a day 1 pick **** Bills Picks Pick 33: From Jaguars Chad Muma - LB - Wyoming The Bills trade back as best as they can this year for a 2nd, 3rd and 5th. In doing so they feel free to select Muma who will play in base sets, replacing the departed AJ Klein while preparing to take over for Edmunds in a year. With the amount of high power running games we face, 3 LBs may be used more than we think. The Bills have a tendency to spend their first pick on a defensive player and all of our first rounders since 2018 had visited (when not restricted by Covid). The Bills had Muma for a top 30 visit while also meeting with him at the combine and having a private workout. While not a top need this year, hedges against a massive need next year and the Bills draft a little earlier than you would expect so not to lose him. Trade Pick 57, 168, and 185 to move up to Chicago at 48 Trey McBride - TE - Colorado St The Bills started this offseason off by saying they wanted to run more two-TE sets. In doing so they signed OJ Howard to be the TE2 in FA. Howard is oft-injured, has been a disappointment when he was healthy and was only signed to a one year deal. Likely, this signing is similar to the Manny Sanders signing last year where OJ may start the year as TE2 until a younger player proves to be ready. The Bills showed more interest in the TE position than any other in the pre-draft visits. After having a private workout with McBride, I think the Bills will have fallen head over heals. What you get out of McBride is a WR1 in a tight ends body. He had nearly identical catches and receptions to Jahan Dotson’s 2021. He also ran the same 40 time, while weighing 20 pounds more than Treylon Burks. The Bills know they are getting a person who was the tone setter for his team and is very good at both blocking and receiving. Pick 89: Jalen Tolbert - WR - South Alabama Continuing with the trend of smaller school guys, Tolbert is a three-level WR and excels at the deep crossing routes the Bills love to run. I hope the Bills take a WR by day 2 but If I had to bet on it, I would not feel confident. This could be the position that we keep clamoring for that the Bills don’t touch until day 3 or at all, especially with our desire to run 2 TE sets more. Pick 106 ( from Jags): Damari Mathis CB Pitt Most people expect CB to be filled by a very early draft pick, I tend to think McDermott meant it when he said this draft had some depth to it at the position. I think round 3 or 4 is where we will see a player selected and I think (and hope!) it will be Mathis. A RAS freak at the CB position, the Bills love drafting Pitt secondary defenders because they play in a very similar scheme in college to what they will run in the pros with the Bills. I think the Bills would feel comfortable with Mathis and a post-draft vet locking down one side of the field until Tre White gets back from injury. Pick 130: Rachaad White - RB - ASU Of all the players in the draft, the Bills have shown the most reported interest to Rachaad White. They have had him for a private workout and met with him at both the combine and senior bowl. He is the type of back that would not pressure the coaching staff to start him ahead of Singletary as he should be a 3rd or 4th rounder. Additionally, he would make Duke Johnson expendable as he is an excellent pass catching back. Pick 157: (from jags) - Ben Brown - C/G - Ole Miss At this point I’m just guessing but the Bills will probably draft a G/C backup and Brown has nice size. The Bills seem to be going high RAS players and due to an injury Brown was not able to test. Watching some of his games he does appear to have decent athleticism. Pick 203: Dane Belton - Safety - Iowa The Bills love Iowa players and could look for a young strong safety to teach as both Poyer and Jaquan Johnson’s contracts are up after this season. Belton has shown good play against the run and the pass. Pick 231 - Punter Whichever one is available, will likely be our last pick to compete with Haack Edited April 28, 2022 by LEBills
Yantha
THIS IS NOT A MOCK DRAFT....... I conducted 46 first round mocks on the pff mock draft platform to see on average who the BPA would be when we pick at #25. BPA as defined by the PFF big board (take that with a grain of salt). Here is what I found in order of how many times said player was listed as the BPA at 25. What is interesting is that you get a sense of probabilities of higher graded prospects dropping to 25. Note also that it is not reflected in the data below, whether lower graded prospects were still on the board (for example, in MOST mocks, Andrew Booth was on the board). Just posting the BPAs probabilities here: THIS IS NOT A MOCK DRAFT....... OC Linderbaum: BPA 22% of the time: (10 times out of 46) LB Dean: BPA 20% of the time DT Wyatt: BPA 17% of the time WR Moore: BPA 13% of the time (hope this isn't our reality....) WR London: BPA 9% of the time LB Lloyd: BPA 7% of the time WR Olave: BPA 4% of the time DT Davis, WR Williams, WR Wilson, CB Booth (TIE): BPA 2% of the time Of course.... the real draft could fall very differently but still. Interesting to see this I think. Edited April 28, 2022 by Yantha

ScorpionZero
36. Christian Watson WR North Dakota State. Deep threat with length. 41. Kyler Gordon CB Washington st. Part of an interesting write up from PFN. A history with dance, kung fu, and ballet has helped Gordon refine his efficiency of motion. But you simply can't replace traits — and Gordon has them. With his fast feet, fluid hips, and short-area burst, Gordon is incredibly sticky in coverage. He flashes insane closing speed at the catch point, and he can hit a rare second gear when initiating toward plays. 57. Trey McBride TE Colorado State. everybody knows about him. 67. Skyy Moore WR Western Michigan. He can do allot of things, eventually high reps in the slot, grabbed him instead Kyle Philips later. 78. Coby Bryant CB Cincinnati. Lot of experience, great ball skills and he saw more passes coming his way considering who his partner was on the outside. 99. Jerome Ford RB Cincinnati. Good size, great speed, can catch and gets North in a hurry. 118. Darrian Beavers LB Cincinnati. Backup to Edmonds, possibly replacing him in year 2. 120. JT Woods S Baylor. Fast, athletic, likes to bring the thump in the run game. Coaches should be able to make him the best version of himself. 168. JoJo Domann LB Nebraska. Great in coverage, good tackler, backup for Milano. Could be used next to Milano in passing situations easing the pressure on Beavers replacing Edmonds. 185. Luke Goedeke OG Central Michigan. Heard lots of good things, small school prospect who should have time to learn. 203. Kalon Barnes CB Baylor. Worth a 6th for his speed, hopefully putting it to good use. 231. Zander Horvath RB Purdue. What can you say "terminator" Sorry didn't feel like writing up the trades, mostly cause it'll never happen. ScorpionZero
It's only 12 picks, second and third stringers can be cut to make room on the roster and salary cap. Edited April 28, 2022 by ScorpionZero
