Once Geno gets out there Russell will never get on the field again.  Just like Bledsoe and Brady.

Ok, I can't back that up...

It would be funny if he lit it up.

Judging by Lockett's performance in the 2 min drill its not likely ;)

I think he fell trying to get a PI call leading to that pick.

EJ was better than Geno. He should have stuck around.

EJ may have been able to stay in the league for a few more years as a backup had he decided to do that instead of pursuing a television career.

He was bad, but I never saw drafted him to be nearly as big of a mistake as a lot of other bad 1st round picks during the drought.   The larger mistake was not picking a QB in 2011 and 2012.    2013 was the worst qb class ever, You had EJ, Geno Smith, Mike Glennon, Matt Barkley, Landry Jones and Ryan Nassib.   When you can say that Matt Barkley is the best qb picked that year and have a strong case, that should be pretty telling.   There was no "it would have gone better if they picked..."  scenario.   They had also traded down and gotten a pick where they selected Kiko Alonso who ended up being traded for McCoy.  Not so much a poor strategy as it was a no win scenario.

Yes, Geno is two years younger than Russell Wilson

Really? I’d have bet it was the other way around. I was actually going to look it up when he came into the game on Thursday night. I didn’t know he was even still in the league. Go figure!

Just like any other team, they lost a top 5 QB, they aren’t going to be as good without him.  The failure to build a reasonable offense is going to be glaring now.

This will probably be the end of Wilson in Seattle as it will prove how bad they are without him and he wants to win.  Next year he joins the Steelers and torments the league for years to come.
