Your right! Offense is more exciting to the casual fan thus all the handcuffing of the defense. Yeah the refs definitely err on the side of the offense, especially when it comes to protecting the QBs. Literally of a defender tackles him and lands on him with his body it's a penalty...how can you teach a guy to tackle like that?? Then the refs won't have to throw flags because the QBs will know exactly where to throw it? It is simple, right Tom? They literally made a rule because of him going out for the season. I know he didn't make the rule but the nfl had to protect its cash cow.
