Yes.

Almost as if immigration to the USA is a new thing or something. 🙄

Unless you consider Ireland the third world (I'm on the fence personally) the mass importation of hordes of people who share nothing with America has only been happening for about 60 years.

You don't know history very well. The freak out over Italians, Poles and other southern and eastern Europeans was just as big and things have worked out pretty well.

Hockel, NY county legislators are issuing emergency orders due to what this will cause. the interesting part is every bit of reporting uses the word migrant and asylum seekers as they are both the same.  kind of confusing people.  probably intentionally.

If actual migrant workers, seems this could be easily corrected with a Rigid temporary visa program for migrants. it already exists, just needs some fixex.

As far as asylum, from where and why?  cause our asylum packages are higher than the median income in the countries they are coming from?

I know history just fine. The national origins act could have saved America.

I could have done without the Polacks but do you think Americans in 1912 had more in common with the Polish than 2023 Americans have with the Guatemalans?

The woke are more correct than the mainstream, again.

Tibs believes that "real" Americans are the criminal underclass, the magic Americans who can do no wrong so long as they terrorize whites.

That's why he earnestly thinks that the lawless third worlders pouring through the border (and will just happen to vote the same way as the aforementioned magic Americans) are natural Americans.

Shock: The New York Times Admits Biden’s Border Policies Encourage Illegal Immigration

Issues & Insights, by The Editorial Board

After two years spent either ignoring the crisis at the southern border or refusing to blame President Joe Biden, the New York Times tepidly confessed this week that his border policies have, indeed, contributed to the surge in illegal immigration.

Why now? In an email to subscribers, the Times senior writer David Leonhardt writes: When the U.S. makes it difficult for people to enter the country illegally, fewer people make the journey north to try. When the U.S. sends signals that people will be able to cross the border even without permission, and potentially remain here for years, more people attempt to do so.

Biden admin plans to order release of migrants into U.S. with no way to track them

NBC News, by Julia Ainsley

After more than 11,000 migrants crossed the southern border on Tuesday, the Biden administration is now preparing a memo that will direct Customs and Border Protection to begin releasing migrants into the United States without court dates or the ability to track them, according to three sources familiar with the plans.

(Snip)

The more than 11,000 border apprehensions in a single day marks a new record and surpasses expectations of 10,000 per day predicted by Department of Homeland Security officials on what could come when Covid-19 restrictions lift late Thursday. “We’re already breaking and we haven’t hit the starting line,”

A VIEW FROM THE DRONE

President Biden refuses to do his job. He has erased our southern border and facilitated the systematic invasion of our country by illegal aliens from all over the world. With the imminent expiration of Title 42, the invasion he has facilitated seems to be approaching a peak, but you never know. It can get worse.

We look on as helpless bystanders. His excuses and lies grow increasingly absurd, if that is possible, which it probably isn’t. Biden speaks as though he himself is an innocent bystander to the catastrophe he has wrought: “It’s going to be chaotic for a while.”

He would have us believe he can’t do anything about it. What is to be done with a president of the United States who refuses to do his job?

Worst Administration in history.

The "best" administration in history at establishing the highest level of incompetence possible and executing bad policy resulting in terrible outcomes at high cost.  The Biden 2020 campaign theme should have been the line Ferrell and Riley in Step Brothers announced when arriving for their job interview, "We're here to f$$k things up!"

It’s Time for the Biden Border Fiasco to Become Supersized.

“We here in the border states are going to have to deal with the pandora’s box that Biden is opening. The cartel action that’s about to get even busier here in Arizona is a much bigger concern than whatever is going on in Manhattan. These midwestern and northeastern libs who have been running around saying, ‘There are no illegal people,’ for years can just shut it.”

Good leaders in business or government don't make or except excuses for failure to meet goals.  And that's an excuse.  They controlled the White House and both houses of Congress from Jan 2021 to Jan 2023?  There's no excuse for not facilitating and negotiating some reasonable solution.

Same with GOP from 2017-2019, nothing, now they complain?

Sad

I’ve done a lot of business in Mexico over the years. They love the current border situation  because they are emptying their prisons into the migrant flow.

isn’t that wonderful?

Sounds like time for Congress to do something, anything, really

the laws are there, The federal agencies under leadership of the executive branch are deliberately not enforcing them.

why the hell do you think people refer to them as illegal immigrants???

this is squarely an executive brach failure blame Biden and even trump, not on congress or senate

No, the old rules are not suited to the new situation. Congress needs to provide the resources for asylum seekers

The system is totally overrun. Venezuela has not always been a burning dumpster fire, but it is now.

Yes true another sad example in the litany of examples how socialism leads to fascism… every time .

That document associated with your avitar image emoji…. Read it.  There is a lot of thought baked on there about how to prevent bad outcomes from tyrannical leaders- because just about every one of these people are power hungry megalomaniacs.  It’s not something new.

Socialism always is the prerequisite to fascism because the dummies buy the fools gold of centralized all powerful government solving all their problems and invite the centralization of power and rule.

How does socialist social security lead to tyranny?

Black people are starting to catch on to the concept that they are being replaced.

It’s not just a “white supremacist theory”..

I’ve been waiting to see how long it takes them to catch on.  They are a diminishing voting block with the influx of Hispanics… a culture rich in numbers that believes in the nuclear family and doesn’t abort their children.

Between mass migration and procreation, it’s only a matter of time before the voting interests of black people are minimized when Dems need to compete with Republicans for the ever-increasing share of Hispanic voters.
