Stads
I am very bored so please humor this thread if you don't mind. The premise is to come up with the most random Bills trivia question. I will start this off: In 2010, the Bills (1-8) scored 35 straight points in the second half to beat the Bengals (2-7) 49-31. This was the Stevie Johnson "Why so serious?" game. Which Bills running back had one carry for 11 yards? Hint: This was his only season on the Bills and had a total of 9 carries for 18 yards for the entire season. Bonus question: Which running back had his only career carry in this game? Edited April 30, 2020 by Stads
BruceVilanch
I had to look it up, not a chance I was remembering that. saw the box score, Stevie had quite the game.

You have to much time on your hands bro. But that's a good trivia question. Quinton Gather is the answer to the question, I think. As far as the bonus question, is it Caulcrick? Teachers pronounce our last name wrong at the Elementary school. It drives me cray. I told my daughter to correct anyone who says it wrong. The wife gets a little silly with me and says she(my daughter if you dont understand pronouns) doesnt need to be correcting adults. I dont understand why you would ever think its ok to pronounce someones name incorrectly. If you dont know just ask and dont be a dykhed.
SteveFreeman22
ok, another trivia, this is bills/sabres. it's a little hard to word correctly. i need just 2 names that 4 players have had in common. 2 for the bills, 2 for the sabres, e.g, joe blow played for Bills and Sabres, john doe played for the Bills and Sabres, their careers didn't overlap. Roch Jim
I was at that game in Cincy. It was so cool by late game, all the Bengals fans had bailed and the lower ring was 4 rolls deep all around with Bills fans. The players noticed and interacted. How about this, how many first round picks from 2006 played for the Bills and who are they? Jehuu played HS ball at Clymer which is in Chautauqua county and about 70 miles from New Era. They won NYSPHSAA Class D championships with him and at 230+ you can imagine him trucking players at the smallest classification of NYS high school football. I think he averaged over 10 ypc. He played his college ball at Michigan State and he did well there, especially as a short yardage specialist. His one carry for the Bills got a first down, I think. His back story is way more interesting than his NFL career. He and his family were refugees of a civil war in Liberia which claimed the life of his father. He coached at Southwestern HS near Jamestown where he had some nice teams but last year he resigned to work for NFL Xenith.

SteveFreeman22
My bad, fake news, got my Smiths mixed up. Doug Smith played for the Sabres and I thought Doug Smith played dline for the Bills, alas, it was Don Smith, and yes I know another Don Smith was a rb for the Bills. There were two Doug Smiths that played in the NFL, one oline, the other dline, and they played at the same time of dline Don Smith.
GreggTX
Kicker trivia: Pete Gogolak and his brother Charley were the first soccer style PK'ers in pro football. John Leypoldt was not your usual PK. He made a LOT of tackles on his KO's, but I can't find that stat anywhere. Scott Norwood was cheered even after "wide right" but Booth Lustig (the 20 year old kicker with the 60 year old face) got beat up by irate Bills fans on Delaware Avenue after missing a FG in the 1966 AFL Championship game that would have sent the Bills to SB 1.
