 Apologies if already posted.

This ERIC Eager fool has no idea what he is talking about.  In a later tweet he said that the Bills FO passed on a QB in 2017 and traded up for one in 2018 - not realizing that there were two different administrations that made the call.

He has no clue what he’s talking about

Yeah, right now we're seeing Hodges' ceiling and basically Allen's floor.

I partly disagree.

There's no reason Hodges can't get better (unlikely but he looks like a 10 year backup as his floor).

Allen probably won't get worse, but who knows if he can correct his flaws.

I understand why PFF would be skeptical of Allen, but it's hard to believe anyone actually thinks Hodges is the better player.

yeah, like, I can see PFF saying "JA has disappointed against great defenses," but then saying that makes Duck the better QB is a logical fallacy.

Well that's what a floor is - he won't get worse. No guarantee that he'll get better but that's not the point.

There is plenty of reason Hodges can't get better - he is very limited physically with what he can do. He came into league a finished product.

Agreed.

With that said they have a process. They rely on their data and Hodges ability to complete the occasional deep ball probably makes him look a lot better from an analytical sense. His YPA is amazing and his QB Rating is very good. It's a small sample size, but for guys who only look at numbers it's understandable why they'd think highly of Hodges and why they don't think much of Allen.
